I just loved when mal sacrificed herself to help save her beloved Ben because she actually had the courage to jump into the water to save him but at the end of this video was so much more emotional

It was a scene from the books, and in it, Uma was messing with Mal's mind. I'm pretty sure it said she was shocked that she was under the water and how she got there and why she could breathe, and that whole scene after that happened on a boat over the water not under. This was only to make it look cooler.
