So funny, at 75 years old I’ve been cleaning out my cupboards and closets of collected junk. It’s good to know there are people out there who might want my throwaways. Five generations of “treasures” given to the Goodwill in Newberg OR.

Back in the day, the small Osterizer jar would be used on your blender to make sauces and gravies without getting your large blender jar dirty. The small Victorian rockers were usually made from aluminum drink cans. Also, unless you plan to keep it for yourself, it would be best to keep the brown lace on the embroidery hoop wall hanging and let the buyer decide whether or not to keep it. 💝🍁🍂
@LaLadybug2011
@LaLadybug2011 Год назад
I agree! The lace is there to hide the embroidery hoop/frame and since it's brown lace-it would still be fine for a boys room.

Julie those blue flower cups from Germany were a promotional product. You bought groceries and got stamps that you traded in for pieces of that Johann Bavarian china. I have a a full set minus the butter dish cover and a Berry bowl. I collected them in the early 1980's. They came in that blue (my set) and green. I also have the serving platter. . They are very delicate and I have finally started using them everyday now that I am retired. . Enjoy 🙂

The little Napkins were used at women's gatherings, club meetings and at peoples homes. Card games were played and light refreshments were served in dainty dishes and table settings. You really found a nice grouping in those vintage linens. I understand they are extremely popular and very sellable. Especially in what appears to be mint to great condition. Indecently, using oxy-cleaning products and or rust remover will almost always get stains out of these old linens. At least it works for me!

In the bin right before the spools, there was an "anniversary clock" in a cloche. The clock unscrews from the base very easily. Even if everything else is plastic, the cloche is always glass. I've gotten several, and they are a great size for display. Cindy
