It’s the coaches’ philosophy that’s the problem; why would you onside every time / never punt? That’s just stupid. Also, through the perspective of the show, he never really talks through with the players what they are doing wrong. You aren’t gonna win any d1 games that way, even if you have scholarships.

Don't feel sorry for him. His high school system doesn't work in D1. When your players have the same amount of years in the sport and make them do some outrageous system its hard to change the way you play and think, and you want a team to jell so they can win.

the QB went from being scouted by the bills to being absolute dog shit. that is the funniest shit I've seen. Also, his philosophy for coaching and playing a game will never work in college. having the philosophy of never punting and always going for an onside kick puts your defense in a shitty situation. it can be done in high school but can't in college.

Coach Kelly quit after this season. Also, he wasn’t good. He didn’t punt and he only onside kicked against D1 players. Losing this much was the only possibly outcome
