Honestly I'm glad Techno didn't forgive Theseus. He did betray Techno's trust, literally stole the nether star which is one of the only items gifted to Techno by Kristin, *hit his back with a chair,* etc..
I'm still mad about Theseus stealing the nether star. LIKE OKAY FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO BLAME RANBOO FOR NOT THE THING THAT KRISTEN GAVE TO TECHNO?? TECHNO DESERVES TO BE ANGRY AND OR SAD IN THIS SITUATION AND ITS OKAY NOT TO FORGIVE YKNOW??
I’m still reading through this chapter but I’m bawling about Theseus not believing Dream. Like I understand he feels betrayed but I feel like there must be something out there that can confirm Dream when he says he cannot lie. I just didn’t want their friendship to crumble and I just watched it fall apart in just a few chapters. I’m still not completely sure of how Theseus made the connection, or of how he didn’t notice earlier. All I know is I really hope Dream can prove to Theseus some how that he is literally in-capable of lying.

Its not being possessive its abandonment issues. People that portray Wilbur like that are dehumanizing him and that goes against Teyz, the author of butterfly reign's boundaries. Also the whole dysfunctional family ordeal has been said, by Teyz, to be generational trauma
He's going on a trip with Wilbur to investigate something and report back to the emperor, its spoilers though. Unless Teyz kills him off now, he should be returning
Basically Techno thought Dream stole something called a nether star and attacked him and Sapnap but it was a misunderstanding and Theseus hit Techno's back with a chair to get him to stop. Theseus was actually the one that stole the nether star and he explained that to Techno. The nether star is really important to Techno because it was a gift from his deceased mother Kristin, so he felt hurt and betrayed by Theseus. Theseus is travelling with Wilbur to investigate why Avians have started going missing.
ya but hopefully techno will forgive theseus in due time i agree with most of your statments but theseus was getting desperate which isn't an excuse but he's just 17 he's trying his best with too much pressure and an entire kingdom on his head. We all know that theseus does all the work and phil doesn't even help him at ALL. Without him the kingdom would FALL.
Maybe not forgiveness, but rather redemption on Theseus' half and moving forward. Phil doesn't help Theseus because Theseus never asks for help, I do still agree with you but I just don't like people painting Phil as the bad guy (even if it wasn't your intention) because Teyz has mentioned many times that this whole dysfunctional family ordeal is mainly because of generational trauma. If you go through and read Techno's interlude we get some insight on how absolutely exhausted, stressed and overworked Phil was. Plus his wife died, his son ran away, and he almost got assassinated. I kinda started ranting but anyway, I don't think there is any good or bad guys in this fic? Everyone is morally grey and they've all done some messed up stuff, whether unintentional or on purpose.

@@Lucid_reign no in like one of the chapters phil says no i'm busy then like 10 minutes later he's spending time with ranboo like the entire day and what work does he do may I ask all he does is give theseus his work
though theseus does need to pay for his actions i'm pretty sure the reason he stole the nether star is because he was getting desperate of everyone replacing him
Basically Theseus did alotta sht to Techno and Techno rightfully didn't forgive him. Theseus expected Techno to hug him after everything (bc Techno usually hugs Theseus before either of them go travelling) basically Theseus is getting repercussions for his actions
Theseus basically went *bonk* to Techno's back using a chair, stole a nether star and Techno was like "that was my mother's you bitvh" Theseus says sorry but Techno doesn't forgive him because Theseus is a bitvh, Theseus also expecting Techno to hug him after betraying him cause he's a dumba$$. Anyway Theseus went snippity snip to his hair too and now he's havin an investigator arc with Wilbur to find the missing avians
