I live in catholic Belgium and was brought up in the seventies to believe the lie of saint Nicolas. I have a similar issue with my mum who is stubborn and doesn't want to release the lies. She is in the strong delusion sent by the Most High as she doesn't love the truth 😢. Simply just been lied to about what's happened in our history. When Satan has a short season, which is in Revelation, he would deceived the nations. How would he do that? Preterism teaches the 1000 years is symbolic of a much longer time line. The literal/physical premillennial reign that is being considered in the little season investigation is something completely foreign to the various brands of eschatology presented for the last 200 years. He’s describing his second coming in and the chapter with telling his apostles summon you sure not to stay till you see the son of man coming in his kingdom. Jesus himself says some of his apostles will not be dead when he comes back the second time he also says that “this Javeon relationship not pass until they see these things happen not an exact quote, but that’s what he said. He also told about four other people if they would view in coming back.

Yes, the word is very clear that the the end times, last days, end of the age was all focused in NT times (30-70ad). Deu 32 talks all about this as well as the prophets and Daniel even gave us a timeline when the end would be (after 490 years). It all happened and Jesus even said all would be fulfilled in those days (luke 21:22). Preterism is the only view that believes the time statements and can understand prophecy fulfilled.

Same as the Rapture - when I first heard the doctrine, I was intrigued but Scripture showed me that was just not true. The reasons people believe this is a possibility come from what we see. The kingdom of Tartaria, the mudfloods, changed maps, changed callendars.
