in my opinion, you could check out a content creator called "Captain Flynn", he also makes great SC videos. the only difference is, he role plays a lot more. but this guy seems quite cool, i might have to check him out a little more, haha.
The closest I ever got to a working business like the one you imagine was me and three others, split onto a C2, a Bucaneer and an Ares Ion. Fighters took out the bounties and then the Hercules came in and we looted. Worked like a charm until Xenothreat (I think) spawned near us, blew us to smitherines and left two ppl stranded and one dead. What followed was the most epic rescue operation I`ver ever witnessed.
using greenscreen to situate yourself ingame is something I've been thinking of doing for ages, well done to you. I have all the gear but no idea lol!! I do really, just haven't. Just got to the end so I'll edit this in for ya. be proud, solo for a bit and the crowd will come. I'm withe the CDI, come join and share ya love of the gaame
Ballistics will change next patch when resource are implemented. But for my Corsair “the emerald duchess” I do half ballistics half energy. Specifically 2xS5 and 1xS4 attritions and 2xS5 and -xS4 AD ballistic Gatling guns. So I don’t completely run out of Ammo.
I've spent hundreds on this game and I've regretted it the last couple years and haven't played in about a year, I think watching this I'm going to jump back in when my zeus is in game. Awesome video man!
Howdy! Awesome stuff! Just letting you know that ballistics have a 50-90% damage reduction right now depending on the ship and shield status so they are pretty bad against larger ships. You're gonna want to use the omnisky laser cannons as they're the strongest weapon currently for alpha damage, but if you're going for pure DPS, I believe the Attrition repeaters are the best
Great video, nice change of pace from the big guys doing their staged battles. Cinematography is on point too. My 2 cents on the Corsair build, swap the wing guns to ballistic and keep the nose guns lasers. Then if they aren't already, set the ballistics to secondary fire mode. That way the lasers never run out of ammo, you can bring down shields, and mop up with ballistics. Using a mixed loadout gives your capacitors more time and less stress to breathe and recharge between volleys.
Thanks for the great content! Your editing always feels like a mini movie and inspires me to enjoy SC for the little moments! Keep up the great work and long live the cargo empire o7
Amazing! This was brilliantly done. Fantastic camera angles with crisp clear lighting. Visuals and audio are the best I’ve ever seen. You have a new subscriber, looking forward to more.
Another awesome video. I’m glad that ERT’s are back in rotation for money making. This is one of my favourite gameloops, downing a ship, then jumping onboard to search for goodies. No other game does it quite like SC.
I rarely have time to watch anything, so I listen to yt more often. However, there is something in your films that I always find some time to watch an episode :D As always, great to watch :)
I use 4xS5 Deadbolts and run 2xS4 M5A's on the wings. Deadbolts do insane damage so the ammo isn't an issue and the M5A's are laser cannons that do a ton of damage and are there to soft death ships and save your ballistic ammo. I also load up with 16 Arrow 1 missiles and about 8 Rattlers
Gawd, I miss that brttttttttttttt. I've switched to all ballistic cannons since the nerf, you should try out the Deadbolt Vs. Come hunting with me sometime!!
I've always wanted to do a looper where we have a swarm of combat ships to take down these bounties, and then fly in with a Caterpillar (I just think they're cooler than the C2) and load it all up and sell all at once.
imagine your small buisness becomes a big buisness with 300 members active in game when server meshing is finally finished. and when the game is finished with all its systems, most likley having a thousand person per system, imagine you having 2k active members in one playing server
I like to lead the enemies above or below the asteroid ring when I'm doing ERT's in my corsair, takes the factor of crashing down a notch. Love the vid bro!
If they're going to change the way cargo gets sold then it would be great if it wasn't broken when selling cargo. The only thing i enjoy doing on my own is mining gems and having a somewhat chill game session. Being away from SC for almost a year and coming back to see this has changed was ok for me at first, until I realized i needed a container to put gems into and then have to grab that container, move it off my ship to a hanger elevator, then take the gems out then move the gems over to sell them. Oh wait, that doesn't work they way it should. I get that they want it to be more immersive but some aspects of immersion don't need to be in a game. I found nothing wrong with selling gems straight from my ship as it allowed me to get in, sell my stuff and get out to do more mining. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
On my corsair I run 4 size 5 deadbolts and two size 4 deadbolts on the main guns. less ammo, but the deadbolts do way more damage, and because they ignore shields, you can melt medium and larger targets quickly.
The corsair ballistic build is only for single target maybe 2 target engagements, you won't have the longevity to fight like 5 ships alone. If you'd like to run a corsair, you need to run energy, unfortunately, because you can't re-arm on the go yet
@ItsCozyBoy by the looks of it, they'll be great again in the engineering update, and with precision mode I'm going to see if we can target pilots to see if the rounds actually pen the armor and physically hit shit
@@ItsCozyBoy try full deadbolt's laodout. its more than enough for 1 ERT, you will never get out of ammo for a single mission. yes, you will still have to restock but speed of killing enemies will absolutely compensate that moment. with deadbolts ERT's are becoming like in "super easy" mode. also, just as option its good to get 4 deadbolts on a front and 2 gatlings on wings to have more fun and to be able to finish targets just up to "soft death" when they are about to die
You may want to consider running deadbolts rather than gats on your corsair. It's got less cinematic appeal but it's the meta when it comes to killing large ships and has the ammo to kill several.
My Corsair loadout is 4xS5 M7A 2xS4 Deadbolt IV I use deadbolts when I bring the target's shields down, when they run out it's not a big deal. Stagger fire to not overkill the target. I always take ERTs in asteroids for easier looting. When the mission is somewhere else, just wait, it will change. And I don't know how did you do that, but out of the last 10 scrapyards I checked, 10 had broken elevator.
why use deadbolts after shields are down? They go through shields and hit your target. I use all deadbolts and insta kill almost anything in my way for ERT's. Also when you find a broken elevator on a shard for one of the scrapyards, that means all scrapyards are broken in that shard. No point in going to others and waste your time and simply switch shard.
@@Ae138 Balistic damage is reduced/split when hitting a shielded target. Are you sure about the scrapyards? With other outpost I've definitely seen some elevators broken and some working.
@@gryzly honestly, here is my take on guns, you either go full laser so you only go to a station to repair or you go full ballistic and re arm after every mission. No matter what the nerf is, ballistics are still overly powerful than lasers. I just do not get what would be the point of mix laser and ballistic. I have never faced a situation where I ran out of ammo. Really on the elevator? I have never seen that and did it so many times that I just switch shard now without wasting more time.
I fell like that half of these time you would of survived if you had energy weapons as well as ballistic you need to do a mix of both so you still got that energy to get rid of the small annoying ships at the end
I love your videos so much its always fun and alive to look videos and so wholesome masseges and "endings" at the end I would love to play with you so much cause im looking for people to play with too and even tho im in a org im rarely playing with them cause theyre never there I love your videos ^^
Good plan for making money but good luck actually selling any eggs right now, all the sell point locations cargo elevators are busted on every server/region I and friends have tried since 24 dropped. Hoping they fix it in .2 but we will see
would you ever consider letting someone salvage the ships you've shot down.. After you take the cargo that is. I've got a Vulture and i enjoy doing some salvage
well i would like to be part of the crew but to be honest i can not pay the 45$ but i can say i can play every day and i can say i will be if i can get a job in game it would be a engine mechanic .
I love these videos so much it somehow brings so much life into the game (and like the video) also can anybody tell me how to get this armor set hes wearing??? thx ^^
idk if your ingame name is ItsCozyBoy - let me know in case I have a imposter on my friends list - I appreciate it! If it was you, next time we can do something together!
imma sell copies of my LTI Alts to players for 200k i asked if it was ethical they said 50k i said LOL NO. I would like HANGARS to have a BUISNESS LINE a Contract only Mobi kiosk that connects a DIRECT CALL (DM /VOIP) to another player the contract window will be preset like a becon but it's gonna cover the basics. Refule, repair, refinary, resorce sales/resales, vehical rentals (basic units like Atls and so on things you have access to infinate spawns of) buying goods in bulk like drugs that can't be sold anywhere else also allowing CRIMNALs to land in your hangar would be the most useful part becase you can group and a CS5 can come land in your hangar for a fee and maybe have some safe place to "refuel" etc before the cops come./ basically you get to be the fuzzy hair chick from mandolorian
