Bought one about 2 weeks ago, the 128 gig thing is amazing! I finally got it set up and the games that I want on it. Added several PS1 and PSP games. Great video as always wicked!! 👍

Assuming Emuelec is on the sdcard, just put it in a PC and edit the button mapping file and make a new combo with 2 or 3 buttons that will bring up the retroarch config menu. Or make it use 1 button then put it back into the handheld and press that button, then re-map it on the device to 2 or 3 buttons.

Got mine for $32 with a five dollar coupon. I agree with all your final points on the device. It's my first handheld emulator and i quite enjoy it. Have the kinhank super console x pro and super console x cube and the emuelec system is convenient.

Imo, they should just do 2D systems on these really low end handhelds. Maybe stop at Mame/Neo Geo/GBA. For $60 you cant really expect good 3D. Hell, some SNES games are 100s of dollars to buy each now. That alone is worth it. Maybe keep PS1 on there for its 2D games but.... no N64 or anything like that

Taki udons review of this showed how so much is wrong with this thing and made it it look rather unplayable out of the box but here it seems decent for lower end stuff

Wow for only $59 dollars seems pretty fair to me, I don't like that the charger is not included, like how would you know what kind of charger to buy? But other than that I think definitely worth it

charging blocks not being included is a pretty common thing now-a-days and you probably already have a few wall outlet phone chargers kickin' around you can take with you when traveling, as well as a computer or two you can use at home.

@@bigemugamer Is true but does not mean is correct for them to do that, luckly there are still brands and devices that do include the charger, with this particular device my fear is to use the correct charger box cause some don't work depending on the device battery amperage and the box charger amperage I think they may not work properly or even charge

The m17 lettering doesn't bug me at all..... I'm sure you could just scrape the ink print off with something like a plastic dish scrubber

I actually just ordered this. I wanted to have a couple of devices that are dedicated to different games from different generations. Miyoo mini plus I got for older games and works beautifully. This is perfect for psp and ps1 although I wish it worked better for n64. But all in all these affordable emulation devices are great. And now I can remove these games and consoles from my steam deck. Before I wanted everything on one device but I just don't want to deal with the added work. I may get a batocera SD card for the deck later but now that these devices work pretty good I think I'll keep them around. One thing I would love to do with this device is to get rid of that x17 . It definitely ruins it's look. I actually love to find a tempered glass panel to replace that plastic one.

I think it's an OK device except, the A & B and X &Y buttons are reversed and you can't change it.

I got one cheap off temu the 128gb version. Its great for everything except n64 in my opinion. I wish it had stereo speakers and an easy way to update the firmware

They are locked to a certain point. Anbernic would be a better choose if you want playstore / android.

My console came and there was no sound and most Roms did not work. I just figured out that the console is ok, but it came with corrupted SD card. Can someone please help me and tell me where I can download an ISO to replace the SD card?

This runs on EmuElec so you can download this online. Only check what firmware you need regarding the internal chipset.

this little guy is beefy. The position of D-pad looks like a thumb sprainer, but the game play and screen display is quite radical. Stinky Amazon will probably charge 20-30 extra bucks to buy the M17.

@@WickedGamerCollectorfirst thing i did when I got my Powkiddy x55 is backed up the SD card onto my computer. The SD in the x55 is actually not too bad like these really low end models but it isnt Samsung either. If this one corrupts... i have backups tho
