Just going by the video, there wasn’t much point in “manning up” before that man did. He was just mouthing off sounding stupid. It wasn’t until he started actually moving about the plane (increasing the threat level) when the guy stepped up. You’re calling everyone a coward, but do you physically intervene with every guy that’s mouthing off in public? Probably not.

The man who did stand up was smart enough, and self controlled enough, to hold back at first to avoid escalation. It was only when the guy who was having the episode stepped into the aisle and really appeared to threatened the safety of the passengers and crew that he judged he needed to act. I really respect this guy and the example he showed.
Several men restrained him and they had to keep switching out until they landed as he fought the whole time. There were many brave men on the plane. They did great.
Why every member of the flight crew should keep duct tape in their bag or something restrain his limb and shove a dirty sock in his mouth and throw a piece of tape over it

First of all, you can't tase someone for doing absolutely nothing but yelling in your face. Second, it's a horrible idea to bring an electric-charged zapper onto a plane that could overtake the plane's controls, someone could steal it, etc. So in conclusion, no, they do not need tasers.
