I'm unsure why I'm being targeted so heavily while asking for donations on the puppy prospect I'm bring home next month but I wanted to make an acknowledgement video in case it caught traction because I don't let these kind of allegations slide by. I do not understand why I'm the target of such malicious behavior all for asking donations yet I am. let's get the facts straight: •oliver is not failed- puppy is a replacement for when Oliver retires but it will take a long time to train as I'm doing self training so I wanted to start a year early. Oliver's planned retirement is in 3-4 years when he is 7.5-8.5yrs old •i do not have everything paid for me, I have a program with my insurance that covers my service dog medical bills and gear/monthly food which helps A LOT •im doing a co-own, the breeder has said they would cover show entry fees so I do not have to worry and I have many show friends to help me with training supplies and training as well as guidance. puppy will do show for fun as it's a co-own and breeder will show and finish the dog. puppy can't do mobility work till 2 anyways so why not? •i wouldn't take on another animal in my home unless I was sure I could meet regular monthly costs, the animals physical needs, and have emergency plans in place if shit hits the fan. •im not solely depending on donations to fund the puppy, I'm working on listing: bandanas, stickers, thank you cards, and art pieces to sell •yes my breeder is FULLY AWARE of me fundraising and is the one who wanted this to workout for me and get the puppy next month even though I told them I could come back for the next litter (which is a year away). they're supporting me and rooting for me because they understand my situation.
