Timothy, the time you did your walk/talk tour of Columbia, NC's town center, was on point and very much appreciated. It really allowed us to clearly see the buildings, various architectural levels and types, various retail shop quality, and the riverwalk area without any obstruction from vehicles and passerby. When you stood at the mouth of the riverwalk and looked back towards the town areas that you just passed, you allowed us to see the true beauty of this fabulous jewel of a place and its overall layout, character and worthiness. Wow! Columbia NC has a nice town center with nice character and a nice layout. That courthouse and all the other buildings close by it are awesome as well. That town is ripe for renewal, historic preservation/restoration/revitalization, and I hope the leaders of the town get energized to make that happen. I enjoyed this video, Timothy. GOD bless!
A cute town Timothy. Appears to be clean, and if you like a small town, this could be a keeper. And, it was nice to see a town that hasn't erased their civil war history, by removing the statue. I moved down to NC from Arlington, VA where all the Confederate statues were pulled down, and all schools or roads named after a Confederate was changed. You can imagine that Gen. Lee took a big hit. So sad. 😥
İn spite of is calm a town , this town seems beautiful . the restaurant 's window aswell a writing l saw . ( Smoked pulled pork ) the window aswell it was writing . The pork is forbidden to eat this meat in us because of we are Müslim. And Maggic duke antigues the small Shop it l loved . I would rather to live in towns from this kind at your country ❤❤❤❤
No, it was late in the evening and things were closing down for the day . As I was leaving I saw people going into the restaurant. But it is a small town for sure.

A historical video should be made by a professional historian, which I am not. I’m just a visitor on a quest to visit every town in North and South Carolina. If I were to do extensive research on the 700+ towns I intend to visit, I would not be able to finish in a reasonable amount of time. This is why I ask, in almost all my videos, for viewers to share their knowledge and memories of a town so we can all learn together. Thanks for commenting and watching.
It is a very small town and it was after hours for most of the shops. But their buildings were mostly filled, so they must get enough business during the day. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
LOL. Not so great for those who prefer big city life life. However, these towns are charming. Love the amazing murals. These towns look like they are preserved from the 1950s. They remind me of some old 50s TV shows and movies. Hope these small towns stay the same. They could be good places to retire if you love peace, quiet, and nature.
