So clean and beautiful small town , has everything u don’t have to live in big city , small towns quite and peaceful and has charm , Thx for ur efforts.
Newton, NC is a really small town with 1900 buildings. Most of the population is black or hispanic. Very diverse. Most restaurants close at 2:00pm just like in the 1960s. Really nice place if you like a slow pace and void people everywhere. Taxes are high unfortunately for our area. Most of the residents have lived here all their lives and are elderly. No fine dining of any kind but a couple good burger places We love it. Nobody comes here, they all go to Hickory to shop and dine. You can have the town to yourself.
Moved to Cajah Mountain next to Lenior NC cause I found a nice country woman.... I'm a damn yankee running away from the commie state of NJ.... Don't Change NC cause I see all the cities going Blue and I Don't Like It.... I've been all over the US and can tell you NC is a beautiful state but I see it changing Keep your Values and Don't take it granted.....btw subbed ya.... be well..
