It is, but I trust it more than I trust Trump--especially when there's a blueprint already made for radically changing this country, in both Project 2025 and Agenda 47. I don't want radical change in *either* direction.

Not trying to seem actively obtuse just recollection if anything. The system isn't perfect, but it's not nearly as bad as it could be. We're fortunate to have what we've got. It could be better, for sure, but we need to strive for more bipartisan solutions.
What do you think a tariff does? And after you list that for me, please extrapolate on Trumps policy proposal of applying a 90% tariff to all Chinese imports.
It's a shame Walz would be VP and not President, I don't really care for Kamala at all. Not that I dislike her as a person, but she doesn't have the right temperament to act as the President in my opinion. But Trump, that man is a menace to society. He cannot be allowed back into the White House. So I am voting for Kamala/Walz.
Where does this "menance to society" thought process come from? Trump was the least war-like President in more than 50 years in this country. He dropped less bombs, prevented more widespread war than anyone. Sure he's kind of dick when he speaks sometimes, but words mean jack shit over actions. Harris is a dick too. Walz is also a dick. So is Vance. Politicians are often jerks.
Always love stopping by and giving this channel a thumbs up. This man is one of my favorite people in the world. Needless to say, the world needs more humans like Kizzume.
Unrelated. But the fact that english has multiple a's was for a long time unknown to me. Greeks with bad english accent will naturally say cut and cat exactly the same. I picked up on the different pronounciation after a while, on few words, but I hadn't realized I was doing it. And there I thought finnish (my other mother tongue) was special cause it had ä, ö and y sounds. But english all along had an even larger variety of sounds! I just had never noticed. I still remember in highschool being told about pull and pool. How I gotta stretch the sound to make a different word and I was like "Oh yeah, that's true". But nobody told me about the a!
I agree 100%. Though I do think Kamala had gotten a whole lot better with her public speaking. When I watch her older videos I'm sometimes baffled with some of the dumb crap she would say lol. I think Tim Walz is amazing though. Can't find a single policy of his that I disagree with, and he has loads of charisma. I'd love to see him debate Trump 😂
I have to ask since this comment section is far more balanced than most anywhere else, why isn't there more of a uproar over kamala being thrust upon dem voters, the DNC just pointed to her since the Debate between retirees when so poorly there was nothing to salvage for Joe in terms of public support but the money was donated already to biden harris 2024 (last figure I recall was roughly $200k or so.) so rather than let the money slip between their fingers they went with an unpopular choice for runner and had to scramble for someone willing to work with her within such a short time frame. Since at minimum 2016 your choice has been stolen and that's coming from someone who was rooting for burnie back then. Is choice really not allowed to be on the ballot?
It cracks me up how people in the Democratic party say stupid things like "Our democracy is at stake this election" and not a single one of you voted for Harris to be the nominee.
@@DonnieWittNow They voted for Harris in the election as VP, so it really isn't like she was just "anointed" out of nowhere as some say, if Joe died instead of stepping down, she would legitimately be the president. There wasn't a great deal of time when Joe stepped down either. Plus if it was a real issue that would be reflected in the polling and her campaigning. You're just exaggerating the issue for your own ends really. Meanwhile yes, democracy appears to be at stake when you have Trump talking about being a dictator and doing away with elections. He can say it's a joke after the fact, but he still said it, so yeah, we're going to take him at his word.
@@DonnieWittNow The point of the whole DNC is to find the candidate that would have the best chance of winning. That has happened (clearly, by Harris' polling and the majority reaction by the whole democratic party) so I think it has done the job it was set out to do. I think people would feel a little differently if this wasn't a re-election year for the Biden/Harris ticket. But it's ultimately the same outcome.
I'll assume you're actually acting in good faith. Here's how a primary works: Each state has a vote and candidates are awarded the ability to pick electors depending on how many votes they receive. At the DNC, these electors then cast their vote for who the nominee should be. Biden stepped down and supported Kamala. His electors were free to vote how they wanted and all (-1 uncommitted vote) decided to vote for Kamala. Everything was entirely legal and according to Democrat party procedure. Very different from something like Trumps fake elector scheme that now has had numerous people facing prison for their crimes.
Walz seems like the classic liberal. He seems to want to use government to make society better and is able to express that when speaking. Possibly more left than I would like but sincere in his beliefs. Harris may be the same but is unable to express herself without forcing it through the constraints imposed upon her by the ideologues in her party. Oddly, I think Trump is similar but he plays better to crowds. Every once in a while he lets something slip and has to backtrack. Such as when he speaks of abortion. JD Vance seems unable to discipline his beliefs to fit a political narrative and often can't help but spill something extremist.
I didn't expect to laugh out loud within the first 10 seconds of this video, good one hahah Fully agreed on Walz. Progressive ideas at heart, but doesn't have the weaknesses I see on most of the left. He's someone nearly everyone would appreciate/respect if it wasn't for the divisive culture right now, he's a great candidate. Hoping he's able to influence Kamala a good bit, charisma is nice but doesn't mean much if he doesn't have any agency. Trump is dangerous enough to make me hold my nose and vote for Kamala in a heartbeat. Walz is someone I'm actually *proud* to vote for, though.
While i might not agree with you 100% of the time, as i don't think it's healthy to watch people you agree with 100% of the time. I do appreciate you more as you've been able to push my perception of the political world
Fair enough. The pronunciation stuff is kinda silly (similar to Buttigieg), there are definitely people who mispronounce it on purpose, but who cares really, it's such a small thing, if they were "accidentally" calling her a slur repeatedly it'd be a different story, but yeah it's often just accent related.
Is the Kamala pronunciation thing not the other way around? You guys seem to love pronouncing non-English words with the aah sound (taco, Mario, pasta) whilst us Brits use the hard ah sound. Linguist Geoff Lindsey made a really interesting video on this.
@@Mitchell8-2 yeah I know. I'm saying even if it was walz v trump I personally couldn't ever vote walz due to how evasive he publicly is about something as simple as his service. I've lost and had family maimed in each branch servicing this nation and I know they'd tell me everything about their service so long as I simply asked.

I'd like to see Jasmine Crockett run! And the Republicans can win back some respect by having somebody like Adam Kinzinger run for them. I'm ready for this circus show era of politics to be over already 😂 I watch old presidential debates and I'm shocked with how much respect the candidates would show each other and how civil the debates were 😂
@@zakkmiller8242 The last six elections have been quite pathetic as far as candidates go. Obama wasn't terrible I suppose but it's always the same story and has only recently gotten much worse with Trump/Hilary/Biden/Harris. Luckily, the president is a temporary position and doesn't have complete power in our government (for now).
I am also very impressed by Walz, and I had no idea who he was before he was selected for the VP spot. Such a great natural speaker who also directly addresses issues that people are concerned about. I'm personally happy you've chosen to vote for Kamala/Walz, and this video is overall a great reminder that we vote for a ticket and an administration, not just one person. Kamala's decision to pick Walz as her VP shows me that she is good at assessing someone's ability to perform a job, especially given that Walz was hardly known by anyone prior to being vaulted onto the presidential ticket. It was not the clear choice, and not the one that most people expected, but ultimately she seems to have found a gem in Walz.
Me too but you got to take what you can get, and I’d prefer him at the top of the ticket but him being in any potential administration is vastly preferable to Trump and Vance. Harris shot it out of the park with her VP pick where Trump struck out
I don't see the issue with pronouncing the names the way they are originally meant to be pronounced (provided its pronouncable). 'Dance' on the other hand is a regular word in the English language, but names can have specific pronunciations. In case of my nickname Moto (yes, that's my real life nick name), I don't really care. I'm glad it's pronouncable in pretty much any language and I'm cool with it being pronounced the way someone feels comfortable doing it. Brits pronounce it MoTo whereas Americans will turn the 't' into a 'd' , so MoDo. Even if I'm not picky I think every person has the right to be adressed the way they want to (unless it's outlandish nonsense). You would probably also tell people that its kizzume if they keep saying kiSSume. I so I see no issue with Kamala here.
It's the fact that people are making such a big deal over someone mispronouncing it. Most people when they see my name, think Kizoomey, they add an E sound at the end. It doesn't bother me, I expect it--but there are media pundits declaring it as flat-out racism if someone mispronounces Kamala's name.
@@kizzume it's simple misdirection to focus on a non-issue rather than the real ones, such as not having a campaign website with their exact platform on it for example
@@kizzume If the person doesn't have a problem with it, then ok. Case closed. If someone insists their name be pronounced correctly (again, without outlandish expectations like nailing a Chinese name or something) then that should be respected. Its not racist if you don't do that, but you are still a pr*ck. Its only racist if you make fun of someone for their foreign name (for instance bullying a chinese person for the name Lee).
well thank god. I think the only thing people are saying about pronouncing "Kamala" is to mispronounce it on purpose is petty, that's not the same as not getting the pronunciation.
Not obsessed with Harris/Walz in a creepy way like having a flag flying over my house. But calling her a dunce is kind of ridiculous. Law school educated, successful political career in today's environment, successful parent, successful spouse...if it's so easy, you do it.
