I've bought a lot of Volvo 850s from Insurance auctions. Always a pretty safe Gamble. Just watch out for blown head gaskets and snaped timing belts. Those wheels are called Turbo Fans. Only came on the Turbo 850s.
17:55 - The Giulia Quadrifoglio is the one you want, with the 90 degree 510HP Ferrari V6 engine (derived from the Ferrari California V8, it's not the spruced up downstroked Pentastar used in the Maserati) that sounds a-w-e-s-o-m-e. These cars have great handling because of the Giorgio platform and they're really fun to drive.
@codycrawford2385 not in all models, for example the Ghibli has the Ferrari F160 engine which is the refined, downstroked (from 3.6L to 3.0L) and twin turbocharged Pentastar V6. The Giulia Quadrifoglio has the V6 variant of the Ferrari F154 engine.
Oh the volvo 850 what a beast my late dad had one exactly like that 😢brings back so much I had my 1st kiss in the car and many more things and was the car I learnt to drive aswell
You gotta get that Volvo, I had an S80 twin charged 2.9L 5Cyl. Fantastic reliable car, it's very fast. I drove it thousands of KMs without a problem. Buy it Randy... you gotta keep this one 😊🇦🇺🇺🇸
Found it funny when he said that little alfa Romeo isn't fast or powerful yet you can get a version of that little car that makes over 500 horsepower which is plenty fast and powerful for such a small car.lol
I remember the commercial with Charlie Sheen & his fiat abarth. Driving that abarth threw his house when he was on house arrest. With all the beautiful ladys & the ankle monitor lol😂. I like the abarth 500 to Randy 🎬🚘👍🫡
Have 2 P80 Volvos and will always be in love with them. Fuel pump is under the trunk mat passenger side. If the trip says 0000, the odometer plastic wheel is broken. Both issues pretty easy fix. Would love to save that 850. There is a Volvo site that you enter the vin and they will email you the radio code.
Yes on the red Volvo!!!!!❤ I’d love to see you work some magic on the sexy red 🚗! I nerve had one but I do love the shape and big square quarters and huge cabin and the interiors are put together just right, I’d see these cars at the local pull a part yards and jump in and it would always break my heart to see them pulled apart and I’d want to save the thing! So yes 👍 get the Volvo 100%😊
Alfa Romeo is actually part of the Fiat/Chrysler family of brands!! Im a UPS delivery driver and deliver Mopar parts to an Alfa Romeo dealership thats on my route all the time!! Those Giulia are also notorious for blowing motors!! Ive delivered several "MOPAR" engines to that same dealer!!
Alpha's are expensive because they are great drivers cars. They have good power and handling but you have to get the right model. The gearbox's are perfectly matched to the engine allowing quick and easy rev matching when changing gears. I drove one for a while and only ever had to use the clutch in 1st or at low revs. They can be a lot of fun, till they break.
Hi buddy are you and your family are ok ? After that big Tornado? We been subscribers since your early day of UBER Guy with the Honda Fit! Wish u the best buddy. Keep moving forward!
If u press lock on the key fob wait a second or two press open turn on the ignition straight away bet it starts it’s immobilised it’s self 👍🏻 bet it runs like a watch …❤
The Alfa Romeo Guilia has a following bc they can be quick with the 2.0 and the 2.9 v6 has over 500hp and is loved by many, we have one and love it yea its made by Fiat Chrysler but still better than most of the competitors
The 500X is built in the same plant in Italy as the Jeep Renegade. I managed a Fiat/Alfa Romeo Store when the X first came out. The Red Volvo is a total win if you end up getting it (and I think you did) I had a wagon years and years ago and, It was a lot of fun
I don't remember you got a Fiat500, about the Alfa Romeo Giulia there are 2 models with a Ferrari motor so it's not slow as you can imagine it's as good as an M3 or M4, great Cars, maybe in US you guys didn't got them
The big Fiat S is too big compare to its great grandpa...Fiat 500...but it should be a great car for some1...the Alfa Romeo is the 1 you should walk away...and the Volvo 850 is the 1 you should bid the helll out of it...trust me...wonderful drive, solid body, mind and soul that Randy will indulge himself in it...🎉😂
Aye my guy if you happen to come across a Pontiac grand pix gtp would you happen to check it out if it ain’t to bad, I’m a fan of them cars and would like to see one on here if possible. As always love the vids, can’t wait to see how the Monte Carlo ss turns out when you get done with it🤘🤘
Hope U are well and safe. The good lady in my life. Has told me. That your home state. Is having some lovely weather at the moment in time. So stay well. And keep enjoying the car's and TRUCKs.
I like the Cadillac DTS also. The reason no one wants the Northstar engine in a Cadillac is that they needed a recall for the head bolts. They would stretch, and then the engine would overheat. If you could find one you knew hadn't been run hot yet, you could torque the headbolts regularly, and then you'd know when to replace them. If General Motors would have done the grown-up thing, they would have corrected the problem. Oldsmobile also had a car with a Northstar engine. The Aurora, however, the Northstar in the Aurora had head bolts with coarser threads, and they stayed tight. Buick version of the Olds Aurora was the Riviera. The Riviera was supposed to be a Cadillac when it was first starting to be designed, but it was given a fledgling Buick division to try to save Buick and it worked. The later Riviera's had the GM 3800 engine, though, and that was one of the best domestic engines ever made, especially the supercharged version. I always thought Cadillac should have put a supercharged 3800 engine in one of their cars. I had a chance to buy a cheap Cadillac DTS that had a Northstar engine that had overheated. If I could have done the work myself, I would have bought it and put swapped it out with my supercharged Buick Park Avenue Ultra 3800 engine. The Ultra had a rotting out body, and the engine and transmission were both still running strong.
Took me forever to figure out how to order with your affiliate link lol😂, I got the 3000W jumper with the 4 year warranty and the tire inflator with the 3 year warranty. Now I have to figure out what I will jump 😂.
What you going to do when they start cabling the keys to the steering wheel? Iaa in Portland Oregon has started cabling the keys directly to the steering wheels where the key won't reach the ignition..
I would have put the booster pac on it and see if it would attempt to start. That Volvo has been sitting fir a bit so it could have lost prime in the fuel rails. 😊
The Giulia have a 2.9 turbo 6 option but you’re right, I have no idea why the 4’s are so expensive. The quadrifolio is kind of cool but if you think the base models go for a lot they are ridiculous. Rebuilt title ones with 40k miles going for mid 30’s. It’s crazy. They kind of remind me of knock off infinity’s
So the Guilias came out after we let the franchises go. They are supposed to be roomwise between a 3 and 4 series BMW (which is what they are supposed to compete with). The only cool one is the Quadrifoglio. It is AWD and 505 HP Check out the 4C or the 8C (not made in the US) for the cool alfas. Unless it is a quad, they are not impressive. And yes, you are correct it is a FCA product
