(coughs up blood) did you guys know mitski said that the man in this song is the haunting patriarch inside her head who can destroy her at whim. haha yeah. only a tougahead (me) could make this amv but it's very much a nanami and anthy affair too. flashing lights 2:45 to 3:06 !! started 15/09/23, finished 12/12/23.

DAISY IM GONNA HURL. Oh my god. “I’ll meet judgment by the hounds” and the cuts of Utena watching with dawning horror and Anthy staring solemnly. “You’re a dog and I’m your man” with the cow nightmare. The way Nanami is just betrayed over and over and over. “People always gave me love, others were never to blame after all” (cut to Akio) oooouuygghhhhh FUCK. The layers there of Touga’s entitlement and lashing out at others who didn’t deserve it but also his own denial of what Akio did to him… AND THEN THAT ENTIRE INSTRUMENTAL STRETCH AND THE INTERSPERSED CLIPS OF ANTHY BEING STABBED ALONG WITH THE ROBOT CAPTURE AND THE KITTEN IN THE BOX. I’m so ill. This is so good. I was working on an amv of this song with Utena and Anthy but now I feel like I’m just gonna be having Kiryuu brain rot the whole time. I’m gonna watch this three more times

I think this is a really solid video. Some points I'd like to address in the future: -The video -The music -The visuals -The audio Remind me. I'm willing to go really in depth here, but I need to be reminded. But for now, I think you are a really fleek person.
