This idea of literally simulating life back then is truly an amazing concept. This video was really interesting and it was really cool to see players developing.
I like the fact you all made roles for each member to combat infighting, typically in these sorts of challenges everybody wants to be the leader, but with this you need everybody in your group lest your character will die out, since one person is not able to do everything, like in the base game.
Wow, I just finished binging your 4 hour recap of the last server and then watched this video as well. How would someone get involved with something like this? Everyone who is a part of your videos seems to be so committed to role playing and creating an immersive environment and I would love to be involved even on a small scale if I could.
I did the same thing though I watched this video first then went and watched the rest and then came back to this one to see if it made more sense, which it did.
Honestly they’ve done so much of the medieval idea and it’s amazing, it would be cool to move into civilization as we know now with the industrial revolution and such… having people’s hearts come back only through medics might be a cool idea, which increases the challenge. Amazing content, love to see the uploads everytime they come out!
@@JustTom-nv6mo I have a series called “Amethyst Valley” where I am attempting to have an evolution system, as in. The series started in the Stone Age(I’m calling it that for now) and we have slowly worked our way up into the medieval era. I am excited to get to the modern era and see what we can do.
What I love about this video/series most is that we don't hop around getting updates from seven groups; we have a very clear focus/main character whom we follow, and some things are mysteries until we learn all the pieces. The fact that there are other groups we're unaware of is fascinating and echoes more what a real world documentary would feel like!!
@@elima5646 I very much agree with you! I thrive on multiple POVs and learning how stories intersect. I just thrive on mystery, discovery and a not-so-direct style of informing people that the world is much bigger than any one person, and no matter how "important" our protagonist may seem, there is always more going on that he could not have predicted, prepared for or been aware of.
Your narrating skills ,suspense ,and the way you unfold lore and make such detailed mature speeches is what makes your videos so addictive and medieval. I love that your main goal is holding peace within the wall of your nation/civilization. I like how you build a foundation off of rock bottom.
I've been on a binge of so many different content creators and their 100+ civ simulation video's ... and this is by far the most captivating. I'm so invested, thank you for the entertainment!
@@RyanNotBrian Ryan is the Zombie series still continuing? I’m not sure because won’t it be hard to film this series and the Zombie series when several players are in both of these stories? I loved this video and when Medieval ended last year I was sad but now that you’ve brought it back with a fresh twist to make it harder to survive it becomes even more interesting because of all the different roles you need to survive and expand.
I love how all the different worlds are tied together. Wonderful storytelling as always. Glad to see Turton back, without him in the last world victory would of been difficult. Can't wait to see what's to come and who is the True King!

this would make a perfect server, allowing a certain amount of people in every month or every few weeks, with new players starting off young, there would be a constant rotate of players, so stories and lore would get built in a truely amazing way
This is THE BEST 100 days video I ever watched.. Even without involving something dramatic, anything related to magic, gods, and any other modded mechanics, just a simple concept of ageing, along with the cooperative players and the amazing editing, it was the best!

This is probably the best of the whole hardcore civilization thing on youtube, as it actually goes for a community over a long period of time and forge their own distinctive histories, and not, we did this in a afternoon and forced everyone to fight at the end.
I like war games as much as anyone, but these kinds of events were always at their very best when conflict wasn't forced. It was more interesting when war was inevitable because of the way people behave lol, not because it was part of the rules
This series is great! One thing i think would spice it up would be artifacts similar to the past series. Like one that allows you to have every role and another that lets you fly or glide that are hidden around the land.
I'm in love with this midieval series. The anxiety and adrenaline enducing plot, the degree of difficulty, the realism and the editing make this easily one of the best series I've ever seen from any video game. Please keep these videos coming, more people need to know about this series!
I love this challenge so much! The system put in place actively encourages people to cooperate and prevents murderhobos from killing everyone for the lulz without consequence. This actually feels like a Minecraft Civilization!
Maybe add a weapon that creates undead from player corpses? These undead mobs would continue roaming the lands. Maybe that way in the future, when you go exploring and see a familiar corpse, it might bring back nostalgia for both the viewers and the players?

Really cool, you were able to have 3 different maps and keep the lore all together, that’s skill. It would be cool if there was like armies made up of family’s.

This video goes as hard as the 500 day Medieval movie. Honestly, so glad the algorithm brought me to your channel, cause your series' are some of the best videos I've watched in the 20 years of watching youtube content. I got hooked to this video as quickly as I did to Medieval, and cant wait for more of the wonderful lore and storytelling
To be brutally honest the video is beautiful I felt so happy watching the players, they are so mature and organized I believe it's definitely one of the best civilization Minecraft video and I certainly felt so much emotions I can't explain

Great video , amazing concept ! Although I feel if you added in clips of the players interacting with each other like talking to one another etc. i feel like it would be alot more immersive and we could then get an idea on what the players are thinking about as the story is taking place
I wish there was more servers like this, like with the story and the custom maps and plugins, kind of like those gta 5 role play servers it’s like your actually living in the game

This new series will be amazing, love the thing where each player has their own jobs and responabilities, such as you being a farmer, it creates meaning and expand the experience and just in generally amazing! Let’s go I didn’t even realize I got hearted until I rewatched it. This is my favorite RU-vidr I can’t wait for another 100 days movies they never get old. I have watched all of his Minecraft war episodes from years ago. Honestly you have gotten much better at making videos. The videos that you put out take along time and I respect that because I know it takes time to make content. I hope you get to have some fun adventures and make more friends.
