Something to file away for if you decide to do this again, get a shop vac, and an extra hose if possible, put one on the suck side, one on the blow side, stick the sucking hose in the bag of foam, the blow side in the bean bag, and fill it via siphon action.

I made a bed out of 'sand' !! Due to back injury ... I had someone build a wooden frame bed that had sides about 3" high. I then purchased some heavy 'ticking' then poured the sand in : ) covered it up with the rest of the ticking put a light weight blanket on top then a sheet ( to be changed of course ) an 'never' slept better ...in my life.............. I'm thinking of making one again........ : ) ...

I would highly recommend to make a zipped fur lining .Or any additional zipped lining .I had my cotton bean bag stretch at the seams and it could burst so I put a second lining on it

I made one of these a few years ago and nearly murdered my boyfriend lol we’re both alive and well. Anyhow we ended up using vacuum sealed storage bags in the bean bag with foam in them. kinda helps to know how much foam you should use bc once it expands it can expand too much if you aren’t careful.

From experience, three bags down the line, I would advise to double seam everything. Preferably French seam (folded back on itself) to make it really really secure. Also, don't cheap out like I did the first time and use old fabric for the liner. This needs to bestrong, so something worn or part rotten is false economy. Don't use curtain fabric which has been hung in windows as it will be sun rotted. Something stained or accidentally bleached is fine.
