Hey! So it appears that the *Netherite Horse Armor* mod I used in this video was actually taken down. Unfortunately there is no alternative for Fabric 1.19.2. So for now, Here is a link to a google drive save of the mod. Sorry for the inconvenience, I have no idea what happened to it. drive.google.com/file/d/18WVO315KCKH338QkP608wNTDz9eD_Jvj/view?usp=drive_link
I'm pretty sure Better Smithing Tables adds netherite horse armor. Correct me if I'm wrong though. It also makes the Smithing Table even more useful. Sidenote: If something disappears off of Curseforge, check Modrinth. Sodium moved to Modrinth.
Likely bureaucratic paralysis + lack of incentive The design videos and talks they published revealed so many weird little philosophies and considerations every single change has to go through, and that's only the part we actually see That, and everyone and their mother already owns Minecraft, so there isn't any point for them to keep updating it, from a corporate perspective
@@jojomicheldu59 ok, this is too much, you can't say that when there are studios that make buggy games, make you pay full price, and you still need dlc to finish it!!
if minecraft had all of these features i bet it would be the best sandbox game ever. period. i love the inclusion of old block textures for an old mc head like me, and to this day i havent listened to all of c418 music yet so this is a godsend! keep slayin with ur mc vids ace :D
While I wouldn't say that this modpack "fixed" 1.20 as some of it feels out of place I do agree that it adds more than we got in the official update Also this heavily reminds me of a mod that brought 1.9+1.8 stuff into 1.7.10, half of it was nonfunctional due to significant Engine differences I think but msot of it still functioned
Wow, a player can create a better update than Mojang can. It’s almost like a corporation buying Minecraft and adding useless features just to add them isn’t a good thing for a game. Edit for clarity: not saying they did a bad job with the mods. I’m saying it’s funny that a RU-vidr can put mods together and have it be higher quality than an official update.
i mean he just chose features he liked and combined them, there was no effort of coding involved, but yes, he did do a better job of assembling new features than mojang
Actually, I did make Lost Nostalgia and Leaves Reworked for Programmer Art. So I did a little bit at least. Also Programmer Art Preserved and Panorama Improved but those 2 work on just texture swapping so don't really count.
thank you so much! I love the 1.20.1 update (the archeology is something ive wanted since i started playing) and im so happy that there is a better version with more content out there! hope you're having a good day ace on second thought, I'd like for it to have more archeology. the new ruin types are a godsend, but i think stuff like skeletons and ancient bones, or even an in-game cypher text that you need to manually decrypt to understand and get some cool stories
Yeah it's been out for like a month now. I'm still on 1.19.2 though because well, like this video implies, almost everything it has can be done better with existing mods. I'll probably end up skipping over 1.20 like I did with 1.15.
Quick tip from your local computer cat: there's a modpack called additive that's goal is to function as a base pack that provides Fabric replacements for the Optifine features and the most common performance mods. The maintainers of additive also has a pack called adrenaline, which is all the performance mods without any of the Optifine and also the base of additive.
0:11 terra fans be like Also nice mod pack, although i do believe there are mods for 1.20.1 that basically do the same if not a bit better but hey people always want different things from this game so i'm happy mods can fill in some of the things people want the most uwu
crazy what happens when they add literally nothing but a different colored wood in a update when back during 1.6 we would get like 100+ different things
If you want honest feedback. I love the videos that are more chill. Tf2 grip deep rock etc. Are always fun to watch but things that are slower like minecrat are nice to just chill and listen to.
You know, bigger isn't always better. I also don't think Mojang has the right approach to updates RN, but their approach does have a point to it. They're trying not to ruin the game for anyone. Basically you could stop playing in 1.18, come back now to 1.21 and nothing would feel different. Now I do want them to revisit a lot of existing features, but there's something great about the 1.19+ features being optional and not getting in the way of anyone's experience. That being said a lot of these mods really don't seem to make the game better. They might just bloat it with way too much content, especially the armor. The change to horses also seems like a detriment to the game rather than an improvement. The fact that 2 people can ride camels is part of what makes them special and useful in multiplayer. Why did you take that away from them?
16:00 Oh yeah, it does feel like since Microsoft took over and C418 left, they started like... really subtly pushing his existing music in the game to the side by making Lena's music play more often. Nothing against her tracks. They're great and they fit well with the game, but C418 was the OG. His tracks *made* Minecraft, in a way. I think it's really wrong what Microsoft did.
I haven't played vanilla since 1.6.4 because of everything mods can do. Why would I want a sniffer when I can build an enchilada factory and cast spells that launch arrows at mach 5 directly into your enemies' faces
Whoops. That is separate. Sorry. I fixed the description and mod list. Man, I knew I missed something out of all of this. Thanks for catching that early!
I remember when i played a custom adventure map mimmicking a supersized andy's house and it had a custom re-textured "token" mob head as a collectible. Problem was, breaking those mob heads would immediately crash the game to desktop. To this day, I am still extremely hesitant about using any mods that change/add heads.
Dose Mojang still work on the game? Because the whole account migrating thing seemed like Microsoft fazing out Mojang's input to have development all be in house. Genuine question as Mojang's and Microsoft's agendas aren't the same for the game. So what gets added could be wildly different based on whos actually developing.
@@VeEeARE ah okay cause the last vid i remember watching was a TF2 vid thats how we do it in the bush and this is the first vid i see after coming back to his content
People who are actually mad about 1.20 are idiots. It's a solid update, the toxic narrative on Twitter about 'lazy devs' has just made people hyper-critical of everything they've done since Caves and Cliffs Part 2.
The devs are always working on things that end up getting scrapped. It's ultimately down to the higher ups of what gets in and doesn't and where development should be focused. Honestly, that big chunk of players leaving is a much healthier and more clear message of disappointment then the people who go harassing devs on twitter.
*You know ? These days people still playing Beta Version Minecraft... Why ? Because They Are Masterpiece. Made By Notch. 1 Legendary Swedish Mann. Also Team Fortress 2 Player. Everyone don't Believe it to him he did played Team Fortress 2 in Halloween 2011 At Times. So, Sometimes Look Back History boys. & kids.*
Wait, how’d you get a hold of C418’s unreleased tracks? I thought they were locked behind a legal battle because Microsoft wouldn’t adhere to the same type of content agreement C418 and Mojang had come to in the past. I might be oversimplifying it, but in the past, C418 and Mojang effectively co-owned his Minecraft tracks, but Microsoft wants exclusive ownership over anything new.
