I made a blanket out of Squishmallows 

like this comment to give me some of my sanity back

Today, I crocheted a frog. I wanted to see my ferret's reaction to the frog. They loved it. But froggy was too beautiful to give to ferrets. So I gave them a different crochet plushie that didn't turn out how I wanted it to look. They loved it more. Now my ferrets are happily sleeping with the plushie. :)

once creating a back lining for the blanket was mentioned, I was expecting that the stuffing would be used to make the blanket more like a comforter

As someone who was stocked many shelves I bet that chair was in the aisle so you could sit whilst stocking to save your back

Hi Raven! I know you probably won’t see this but I had another video idea, I remember in a live you said something about your build-a-bears being naked. I think it would be absolutely adorable if u made each build-a-bear frog a little crochet cardigan like the one you made yourself, I have never crocheted before so I might underestimate how hard this could be😂. I really want to start and once I get the hang of it I will definitely be trying to make my build-a bear frog little clothes❤

Add a backing and put a little stuffing into each panel to give them some dimension!

I absolutely love this you did an amazing job! Also as to the ominous chair: I use to work at that particular craft store chain. And I can tell you the chair was probably to help with stocking the paints that are on the lower shelves. It hurts your knees and back to bend down constantly to stock the new product. So it was probably that store solution. At the location I worked we had a little rolling stool that you could adjust the height on. 😅 I hope that helps answer your question about the strange placement of the chair haha

The iron sprays put water for areas which are super stubborn or tight creases so u can spray water on ans then iron over the top to create localised steam. Amazing job on the blanket!

It turned out so cute though, not cursed at all! I hope you can take a rest after all that sewing and crocheting though! I've definitely questioned myself multiple times before when doing a project like making a complex cosplay like whyyy am I doing this?!! And then when it's done you're completely exhausted but you still made something super unique and cool!

Also, as someone who works at a craft store….the chair is probably an employee either doing a reset (moving stuff around) or zoning (making everything look uniform and nice)….let me tell you, squatting down and/or constantly sitting down and getting up from the floor, IT SUCKS! So rolling chairs help lol. Or! It was a customer/kid rolling themselves around the store, happens more than you think

I can’t believe you made so much of it with crochet! That takes a lot of time and skills. During the intro I assumed it was a quilt and you were using a sewing machine, which would’ve been much faster, but now I understand why it was so time consuming lol

I literally got my first ever squishmellow like some days ago!! It's a snorlax and he is my child!!!

don't have any squishmallows but there was a sewing project that took me a month to finish cause I couldn't figure out how to get it all to piece together. I made a police dog harness/vest for my build a bear Growlithe Puppy. I was about ready to give up. I didn't want to give up, so I took a step back to rethink the project. I had only made one harness before Puppy's. I thought maybe if I took that harness and added on to it. So I snipped off the parts for Puppy's harness and went on to making a new version of the harness I made before. And after have to cut out new parts, and sewing down some left over fabric cause a seem looked ready to snap. It was done. Then I broke down cause I was tired of working on it.

I literally love that blanket. I'm not the biggest fan of rainbow unicorn but any squishmallow is a cute squishmallow. Awesome job froggy.

Raven! You’ll never have to sew squares together again…. Here’s a trick I saw in a pattern once and I’ve never looked back: joining squares with a single crochet through both squares at once. You can also join multiple squares that will be in adjacent rows (they’ll be loose and floppy until you go across the other way) but yay fewer pieces and fewer ends to weave in. 👍🏻👍🏻
