Yeah I’ve worked with those before! I seen this on Amazon and thought I would give it a go! Little more fibrous than the pink or blue but it’s very forgiving if you miss something you didn’t paint black!
Merci! je n'ai pas de lien car la société n'a plus rien posté désolé! c'est juste de la mousse XPS d'une couleur différente. désolé si cette traduction est mauvaise, j'ai utilisé google translate 😅
@@KGCustoms91 for sure! I'm trying to make a castle with cardboard but this still gave me some ideas with the paint part and the sculpt, even though the materials are so different. I'd love to watch more things like this, 100%
Ahh man that sounds sick! You doing a video on it or just for yourself? Either way I hope you have fun! Honestly glad I could help! I’ll be doing more videos like this for sure 🙌 thanks again!!
@@KGCustoms91 I don't make videos haha just for myself because I wanted to try something and thought a castle was a good idea. It's a bit hard as it's my first time doing anything like it but it's a lot of fun! I'll be on the lookout! Great vid again.
Ahh that’s brilliant am glad you’re having fun, that’s the main thing for sure 🙌 I can imagine but you have to start somewhere and again just have fun with it! Thank you so much!! 🙌🙌
Great video pal, I'm new to customs.. don't suppose you have links to the materials used. As for the mod podge and black paint, does that help painting the form? Did you use a specific ratio? Again to video 🙌
Thank you I appreciate it!! I don’t sorry but I’m working on a detailed list at the moment so once it’s ready I’ll send it to you! It honestly does, it protects the foam if you want to use spray cans/aerosols and also primes it black which helps with contrasting shadows! I didn’t use a specific radio no just a little bit of black paint until it was a colour I was happy with! So it’s more personal prefence! 👌 Ahh thank you so much I’ll try get that list to you soon! Stay nerdy!! 🤟
What do I need to do, If I want to make custom figures on marvel legends? Do I need a technique before and after painting tips? Cuz I just have tried to paint on figure with model color paints and after drying the paint comes easily off. Did I did maybe something wrong? Or the paints are not good enough for plastic? I want to know! Maybe you can help my out bro.
See if the surface is smooth, I like to give it a light wet sand. You don’t want to go to heavy on the grit so maybe like 2000 grit, this will help the paint adhere to your figure. I then use a surface primer, mine is Vallejo Black Surface Primer but you can also get it in white and grey. these are also useful for helping with adhesion! I use all sorts of acrylic paints even cheap ones do the job, long as it’s sanded and primed, it should hold that paint on!
I make most of my dioramas out of XPS foam! But I also use packing foam from time to time! I literally save everything, never know what will come in handy!
@@puchoyadvincula8812 I’m so sorry I’ve been up the wall with the baby and had a bit of an accident so completely slipped my mind! Each section is 12” width and 16” length but they can be stacked or doubled so they can go a lot bigger you just need to double or quadruple them! Again so so sorry I’m usually good at this 🫠🤣
