It was honest, and it is not what he said: He said if you take out the cards that 'are good only half of the time' and put in the cards that 'are good all the time'. Which absolutely is true. You analyze which cards help you 'all' the time and which cards help you in a lot less situations.
Mr. Mono, you sir are an artist and I appreciate your dedication to the madness that is jank. You were my inspiration to dip into the Historic format where there is a larger cardbase that can allow my inner jank artist to create tapestries of poetic insanity. Thank you for all that you do and stay janky, my friend. 👍
That intro was amazing, freaking smashing. As a latino/ Mexican I tought the Mexican parody would be offensive then I tought if in Mexico there was a literal place called "taco town" that would be SO awesome. (Then again there is a buck load of taquerias everywhere so.... it kind off~ sort off already is) PS. Whe need more crossovers like this! 😂👌🏼✨
It still takes 8 turns. In historic it is hard to make it past turn 4 against aggro/combo decks. I think it might pair better with the golgari viper that duplicates counters.
RU-vid I like this guy and his videos. I gave him one of my thumbs and I said something. ON a personal note, I love that moment when you're putting a deck together and you realize that you just hit fuckin gold. It's my favorite magic feeling. I could only imagine winning a tournament with a deck I didn't build would make it feel hollow for me. It's all about the brew to this guy.
Played a version a version of your deck in Kaldheim Constructed and went 4-0. Thanks 🙏🏼 for the video and idea. Your videos are my favorite out of all the RU-vid arena guys. 4/5 Angle that makes a angle was my win condition and works with BotS
Very fun deck to play. Thanks for the deck. I didn’t have all the cards and added Icebind pillar. Works well to make opponents to play wider or control the board after a wipe.
Thumps up for Replication Ring. I've put it in a Jeskai Control deck with Shimmer Dragon. Couldn't care less about snow but in the late game turning the 8 Rings into draw 4 each turn is nice ;)
Feel like the sideboard needs some more win conditions. You have incredible amount of mana, board wipe, life gain etc, but not really anything to win with.
Trying to go for a quicker win instead of keeping the enemy from winning when time works in your favor could just be an unnecessary and fatal risk. As long as you can prevent turnarounds from your opponent making it quick is not a priority.
I know its late... but put Lithoform Engine in the Sideboard... then you can activate it whenever Replicating Ring procs (get 16 rings) or when you cast Alrund's (take two turns) and other stuff like Raven's Warning final stage. Remember; AWM. Always Win More.
In a creature based standard format just take away all creatures and plansewalkers then you always win got it. Love this deck going to build it when I have enough wild cards to do so.
Maybe its jank but that giants deck gave me an idea, chris! That tyrite land that gives godhood? Also Grants indestructible to a god. So obviously you should run an Ozolith deck that creates those indestructible counters, and maybe even proliferate them and use another card to move the counters off it or use Karn to make them into creatures!
Great video! I laughed so much!! Thanks!!! But... Mr Mr, I wanna see this deck in ranked matches!!! Pliiiis play against mono red, mono white, boros, rogues, yorion doom, etc etc...
16:00 there is, run 4 epiphany in wishboard so you can chain them off. You have 12 cards plus ugin that draw, so reusing a fae should be easy once you're up to the Mana to wish, cast, recall fae plus cast epiphany (15 Mana) meaning if you have the resources and one fae you can take five turns in a row for 15 damage from ugin or like 12 and an ultimate. Also I noticed you don't have any planeswalkers that blood on the snow can bring back. Maybe the new kaya? I doubt you need 4 ugin; she is cheaper exile that supports augur with her plus, her ultimate combos with epiphany to win the game with infinite turns, and since blood brings her back she can exile high value targets repeatedly and keep the board clear after a wipe. She can also make a jorn more reliable though I don't know when you would need that. That said I wonder if one jorn in the main for the staff to support snow creatures would be any good. The staff would also support faceless haven if you brought that in for board wipe dodging snow creatures, as would kaya. I think this is one of the more exciting decks you've made since kh release in terms of viability and versatility.
I think Coma would be an insane sideboard 1-of. You can cast it with the replication rings and it just wins games by itself. Basically only ugin can remove it
Hi Mono, I made an Deck based on the 7 Dwarves and cloning them with Orvar etc., it isnt perfect, but works out fine and its really fun to play. Maybe you want to try it out... Deck 7 Seven Dwarves (ELD) 141 6 Island (KLR) 290 4 Orvar, the All-Form (KHM) 70 5 Mountain (KLR) 298 4 Mythos of Illuna (IKO) 58 1 Glasspool Mimic (ZNR) 60 4 Littjara Mirrorlake (KHM) 264 3 Sublime Epiphany (M21) 74 1 Ketria Triome (IKO) 250 3 Thornwood Falls (M20) 258 2 Swiftwater Cliffs (M21) 251 2 Rugged Highlands (M20) 250 1 Temple of Abandon (THB) 244 1 Temple of Mystery (M21) 254 4 Infuriate (THB) 141 2 Unsummon (M20) 78 4 Unleash Fury (M21) 170 3 Burn Bright (M21) 134 3 Opt (M21) 59
