I laughed when you say you're gonna get it done in one day but it's absolutely gorgeous and I love it and making an article of clothing to coincide with a theme in a video game is so me lmao. I just crocheted 3 cardigans in the last couple of weeks but now I wanna make this one 🙃💜💖
It turned out beautifully!! Thank you for sharing!! I haven't got quite that creative with my machine yet, made a couple of sweaters, but, wow, you have inspired me!! Please do more of these videos!
i’d highly recommend mattress stitching the panels! i’ve made a sweater with my addi, and you can’t even tell there’s a seam unless you use a variated yarn ((:
love this idea. definitely need to make a sweater inspired by queen coraline. i don't have a knitting machine, so it will for sure take me much longer than 3 days hahah. personally, i would probably do the stars in duplicate stitch because the idea of sewing all those separate ones on would make me cry haha
Hey, I just saw your video! It’s so good! Do you have any tutorial on how you attached the panels together? I loved that you used a crochet needle for it!
I've had circular knitters for years (including the addis) and I cannot do a panel. I know it's user error but I can't figure out how to do a panel without the edges being all wonky.
Hope you’ll answer me 🤞🏻🤞🏻 You said tutorial but don’t tell how much row you do for the sleeve ?? Also, how do you do the effect at the end of your panels ? It looks like you do it with the sentro ? I’m doing this sweater with your video but it’s not very clear 😭
I can't tell if you're 18 or 30! 🙈 That's a compliment. ❤ You seem like a mature soul, but look youthful. Love your aesthetic and this Coraline sweater!! 😍
More more more sweaters-- you do such beautiful work... It is gorgeous!!!! Lets see a nice color gradient type sweater..maybe.. I dont think all the stars would look good on this grandma-- chuckles maybe some around the wrists and neckline. LOL but Ill try maybe.. Blessings to you Quinn
What size of that knitting machine are you using? I want to buy one to make sweaters and blankets but I’m not sure what size to buy as i think the website has three. Which do you recommend?
This is a really nice sweater and you've worked hard on it, well done. However, I have one of these machines and I'm so disappointed with it, the fabric that comes of it is so loose and floppy. The sweater you have made would have looked so much neater and professional knitted by hand. I'm glad I never wasted more money on the Addi. Gorgeous wool you've used by the way.
I noticed she used the lowest tension setting for the machine when making it. You can take the tension up a few levels with the attachment by moving into the closer holes or just tension by hand. That would make it tighter for sure.
I think I used three skeins of that re tweed yarn, but the amount you’d need would depend on the size you want your sweater to be! (I also would caution you against using the same yarn I used since it was such a pain in the machine lol)
9:38 in and wondering how you did the ribbing?! 😮 I have a knitting machine but I didn’t think you could do ribbing with it I just thought you would knit or crochet that after.
Just search on youtube, you rip the every other row of stitches out, then renew them with the hook on the inner side of the textile. It is fun and quite fast to do.
I love watching the entire process!! My little sister loves Coraline so I think I would try to make this for her! I’m interested to see a video where you explain how you did the ribbing, like more in depth tutorial, as well as explaining how you seemed the panels together! The finished piece is beautiful congrats!🎉
Thank you!! I have tutorials from other creators linked in the description for how to do the ribbing and the seaming, but I’ll definitely make some videos showing the processes for both of those as well!
This was so fun to watch haha. Exactly the type of knitting content I am looking for. Also off-topic, but you remind me of the RU-vidr Paperbackdreams. I kept thinking I was watching one of her videos, lol
You know, day 1 you were wearing a blue cardigan the exact color as your yarn. Cut out some felt stars, sew them on or fabric glue them on and you’re done! But I love the idea of making it on the sentro. I hand knit ant it would take me weeks to make it. I’d have made the sleeves rectangles and seamed them so they’d fit tighter on the arms and wrists.
