He copied it. Blantanly stealing the original *EILIK* robot design and just changing it with some cheap 3d printed black color ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SRLbpklaOSc.html
You are literally a team of engineers all in 1 person. You have the skills to design every aspect of a project from start to finish which is not very common. The problem with a majority of engineers is that they only know how to do one thing in the project which limits them to their understanding on functionality and practicality, but you are not one of those people. Keep up the good work, sir!
Well, China has more than 1 billion people, so I would say you can find a lot of people like him there. Especially in Shenzhen. This guy seems to live in Shanghai though.
This is no DIY, This is a straight out finished product ready for commercialization and mass production! I might exaggerate a little but not that much, You make the most high quality complete tech projects on the internet.
Yeah that would be a good idea....if he didnt STOLE it!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SRLbpklaOSc.html To the person who recreated that robot, just please tell the people the truth before the EILIK robotics company would sue you for just straight up copying their invention! 😒
i'm honestly just left amazed by this video. this guy designed a product, made almost every single part by hand except for some screws, motors and small components. he then goes on to write a full fledged Software environment for the robot, even makes a small apk, and then before video is even over he already shows us a solution to a way easier way of animating the robot, and adds gesture recognition features. in one single video we see this guy do what several crowdfunding companies fail to do over their entire lifetime. man genius level content right here
Don’t forget to add as well that he has gifted the knowledge and instructions for others to make the project and made a fanatic video of the whole process.
Hi, your videos is probably the best electrical and computer engineering videos on RU-vid. And I think It would be great if you could add English captions. Your viewer would go up substantially and I believe that more people need to see this. Keep up the good work!
Turn close-captioning on, then auto-translate in settings. The translation (at least to English) is far from perfect, but close enough to be able to follow along.
The fact that you open sourced everything is simply amazing.. seriously your 'side project' is much much better and complete than a lot of kickstarters and finished products out there.. Thanks!
There should be an award for such ingenuity. I to am huge fan of things that are tasteful, practical, and multifunctional all at the same time. My two favorite functions are the gesture control and putting a persons face on Electron while video chatting. Electron could also be set up as a very unassuming motion activated security device. Way to go!
When you were saying that his was a side project, I was getting hopes that I may be able to do this project but then it just kept getting more complex and amazing. I am happy to have found your channel! You are an inspiration to me and I hope I will be able to do all of these things myself one day.
The level of quality and detail of this project is off the charts. On RU-vid you are usually lucky to get a proof of concept. This is on a whole other level
I have no idea how i stumbled across your channel not speaking a word of Chinese, but i am so glad i have. Honestly the stuff you are making is just amazing and truly inspiring. By far the best i have seen on youtube and you say this is a side project? Definitely subscribing.
I think the language is the major reason of this under rated channel but this channel is insane in terms of knowledge . and far more better than any channel i have ever subscribed .keep up the good work man:)
Very nice, thank you! You remind me of a friend of mine, who undertakes projects that seem crazy. But when you see them finished you realize that it is just a matter of hard work. My friend doesn't like being called a "genius" because he spends a lot of time on his work, and calling him a genius is detracting from his efforts.
Awesome project and complete breakdown from start to finish. The bot looks similar to the Eilik robot on kickstater, but this is already complete and ready to go with more features. If you ever did a kickstarter for this you'd get my money
This is just crazy the amount of work this must have cost, its even better than anything that has ever been soled in stores and you just build it yourself thats amazing
Insanely amazing. And of course thanks for making it open source for "benefit of all humans". I wish day will come, and this type of technical knowledge will become ordinary, but not only could be learned "behind the walls of big corporations". Thank you.
I am astounded by the amount of stuff you can do, it really is remarkable. You are so good that you make it look like child's play. Bravo ! One thing I would deeply appreciate is if you could make a video explaining your toolset (hardware, software & design approaches/methodologies) For example I use 2 types of 3d printers & 1 CNC , I use PyCharm for Python and Altium for PCB design, I choose Electron for GUI applications et cetera. It would also be cool to explain the drive behind every decision, for ex. why you choose to utilise X design approach or software or hardware tool instead of Y. That way you could instil into people like me and other robotic aspiring amateurs TONS of wisdom and save us a lot of time by doing this (we won't make the same mistakes that you possibly may have done). It would be one hell of a gift to the robotic community! Regardless, thank you for those awesome videos once again :)
@@user-ow7ej5ss7j Can you please make some raw full length side videos of just explaining stuff you do..Please Please! You're amazing! Love from Pakistan!
@@user-ow7ej5ss7j But when you are unfamiliar with what tools are out there it is a great example of what a person has used to create their end goal. I can understand there are a lot of personal decisions involved with software and hardware choices, but it is very educational to hear your opinions and why you ended up using certain tools over others. That does not mean every person needs to use that tool, it is just an insight into why YOU chose to do it that way. I do hope you consider this suggestion a little more, but I also appreciate it is a hard topic to make a video on.
When u said this project is not that difficult..my brain was 🤯🤯🤯...dude seriously...u are very good at doing this stuff...but for the most of people out there it's tough...kudos to ur work..keep doing stuff
I watch 2 minutes of the video, I'm impressed, and then he continues to show new features and I have lost my mind. I am studying Mechatronics Engineering and you are my inspiration.
note: for non-Chinese you can watch in e.g. English with Captions on. Great work by the way, this is the first video I've watched all the way to the end that is non-English in 10+ years. Simply captivating!
I have to say hats off, this is the amazing compete project. You inspire me to continue building and developing. Thank for contributing this to the open source community. Amaing work!!
This is the first and only non-english channel I've subscribed to - this is the best project I've ever seen from one person - it's at a level that exceeeds any on-the-market product i've seen - the fact you can use electron to perform functions like adjusting volume, a well as all the other functions as well is truly a masterclass in design thinking and problem solving - it's people like you who will help work towards a better future for the human race. fascinating
This is a stunning personal project. Fantastic work. With the conferencing that has video driven robot movement, you've basically inverted the terrible virtual reality meeting room FB just spent a few billion on and made infinitely more charming physical avatars. Now I would only have to worry about my cats attacking the moving robot avatars during meetings.
Hi, I just want to thank you work (truly awesome), and the fact you put captions in videos. I'm trying to learn Chinese atm and your impressive builds and videos greatly help. 谢谢你. (Greeting form Poland btw.)
This video is definitely underrated, the electron is the most awesome thing of a kind. You are awesome man 🎉🎉, I'll definitely try make one for myself too.
Hi! im very interested in the modified circuit you made to control the servos with the inverse drive to adjust the position of the software robot with the real robot. As an electronic engineer student from Guatemala, i would like to know more deeply how you made this. do you have any books, papers so i can read about how to do it? also i'd love if you did a video about this subject, because i havent seen it anywhere. I love your projects!
Your projects are so polished. This could easily be shown as a prototype to a manufacturer and developed into a product. The revenue would allow you to purchase high end 3D printers, CNC milling machines, etc. and allow you to tinker and prototype full time.
description shows 'subtitles working in progress.' maybe now you can use the chrome extension call Dualsub, it has a function to translate different language.
Your videos have me wanting to learn Chinese just to learn from you. Wish there was no language barrier for all of humanity. We could all learn and work together:)
Wow! Wow! Wow! My jaw just dropped to the floor after watching your video. This is one of the most amazing DIY projects I have ever watched, if not the most!
Hello, I'm Thai, this is my first time. Having watched your video, I must say that I was most impressed. will always follow up on your work because I love this approach
Completely brilliant and fascinating!! @Disney @Pixar where you at??? This is an incredible toy! With code learning capabilities, super cute, and beautiful! 😭😭😭😭
