Honestly what facinates me the most about this sponsorship is that they chose you out of all kinds of content creators, someone at Techland really decided that getting a sculptor to sponsor their game while also making a dude dropkicking a zombie off a building would be cool, and I appreciate that
Makes me wonder how they presented it to everyone else. Did some dude just walk into a meeting and say "look at this dude, he makes stuff. Let's give him money."
I like to think that someone just wanted a sculpture of someone drop kicking a zombie off a building, and used the sponsored reason to have the comission be paid by the company 😂 it's like hitting two birds with one stone
He's good at making sculptures (especially zombies) and from what I've seen of Techland through Instagram is that they LOVE zombie figures. So, pretty good fit imo
My reaction to every one of your sculptures is exactly the same. You get done with the first part of the painting and I'm like, "oh damn, that looks so real." Then you do the weathering/detailing and I'm like, "oh damn, that looks even realer." Very impressive as always!
Adam's uploads are to die for... literally, I died when the random dude drop kicked me off the top (thank you super spider for correcting me) of the worlds tallest building.
Imagine transporting them! JEEZ LOUIZE CHICKEN AND CRACKER CHEESE that would suck bawls (the cracker cheese thing is something a friend of mine says or used to say)
INCREDIBLE. My favourite bits are the weathering on the leather jacket and the walls of the building. So so good and convincing! Also thank you for making something that doesn't give me body horror nightmares 🥰
That's gotta be one of your best sculptures yet! When I discovered you like two years ago I already thought your sculptures look amazing, but they keep on getting better. You really improved as an artist and I'm excited to follow along the journey.
this might be totally out of topic but it's 1am where i live rn. i just had some serious anxiety attack and i'm all alone, i'm so scared of something that doesn't even technically exist and idk what to do i nearly cried. i checked youtube and i'm so relieved to see that you just uploaded. listening to you talking while making your artwork feels so 'safe' for some reason. i guess you can take me saying this as a sincere thank you, i hope you don't mind. you're so talented, pls keep making arts!
I hope you're feeling better, and I completely agree Adam is a huge comfort channel, this was nice to watch because I have not been doing well recently either.
I feel like dropkicking a zombie off the side of a building is the most dangerous and simultaneously least effective way to kill a zombie and keeping yourself alive
Edit, removed mistake, added something I noticed: The zombie’s tied sleeves should be flowing in the other direction lol Also, 20:34 you *are* an artist, Adam!! Just because you don’t draw doesn’t mean your sculptures aren’t art!!
Adam's chapter titles are almost as amazing as his artwork. Thank you so much for posting cos this is amazing! And of course we like you, why would you even doubt that?
The dynamicism in the figures is amazing... the shift of the hip as he flies at the zombie, the angle of the zombie's arms - they all work so well together.
from the thumbnail alone, the man kicking the zombie reminds me of Jason Todd with his red hood and leather jacket; this sculpture looks so good, definitely worth the extra 6 days :D
The feeling of movement in this piece is astonishing. I just keep waiting for that zombie to teeter off the edge and for Aidan to swing that sign into its face! I am also once again blown away by the detail you put into your environments. I could watch you build a whole house in your style 😍
Cool sponsorship vid! I gave up on my dying light 2 playthrough a few weeks into release because I was disappointed with the lack of guns compared to the first game. Without this sponsorship I’d have never known they’re adding guns so double win! Thanks Adam
I would absolutely love to see you sculpt Trico from The Last Guardian! He's the perfect mix of adorable and badass that I think would not only strike your fancy, but give you some good inspiration for a scene!
The bolts and rivets was from when you made Choo Choo Charles, because you talked on there about how you bought the mold thinking you'd use it a lot and haven't, while haphazardly filling the molds with Bacon Bond- I'm sorry, Bake & Bond.
Hearing you say "infected" made me think of something: An infected my little pony character sounds like something that's right up your alley! Would love to see your horrifying take on that whole concept xD
Hey adam so I drew this thing a while back and what it is is a HUGE crocodile coming from the depths of the ocean and just above it is a little man fishing and all around the croc is pieces of a boat absolutely destroyed! Just thought that could be a cool thing to make and add to the collection!
Dang, dude, the sculptures are fire, but that base is NEXT LEVEL. Definitely a dropkick-worthy rooftop! (Also, the multiple TMNT references now makes me wanna see your take on the Turtles!)
the imperfections and goof fun is what makes your channel awesome, I don't want a clean, 'professional', corporate feeling video lol. Many channels end up going that way and it makes them all feel samey and boring. Plus less human too, we can't escape making mistakes and failing, feels fake otherwise. Uniqueness is what makes youtube youtube, and what makes the art space so much fun to explore and experience. this turned out fantastic too, the 7hr head sculpt looks so fucking good. You've just keep banging out such awesome pieces.
I do wish you would do more of these longer and detailed episodes. I truly enjoy watching you produce the most amazing things while having amusing chatter to move things along. This genre in art is very difficult to do but so satisfying to observe. Thank you from a 70yo painter.
Amazing!! I love the whole thing, but a detail that stands out is the grouting for the bricks, it looks so good and it's a small thing but it really works to sell it as a brick wall!
Adam, gotta say the progress you've made in the course of the last few years is astounding. You started your channel as a good sculptor and have definitely become a great one!
I have a request that seems right up your alley. Lost silver from the pokemon creepypasta of the same name. Bonus points if you add unown floating around him spelling a quote they spell in the creepypasta (i.e: "he died" "no more" "I'm dead") and extra bonus points if you add the shiny celibi* or the typhlosion. Best regards and good luck in your crafting, Qpeek of HelloKinkajou. Ps. If you make the celibi, make sure it's cut in half with innards hanging out. I also advise reading the creepypasta beforehand and looking at reference images. The portrayal in fnf monochrome is a good one.
Random idea: GrayStillPlays (a RU-vidr who likes "making pixel people cry/suffer (I don't remember which)") dual-wielding flamethrowers on a pile of skulls and bones, laughing maniacally Will this be seen, probably not, but I'll try anyways
