In flavor terms, conceding represents planeswalking away from the battlefield -- so I can imagine a Vorthos player who _used_ to concede at instant speed, but hasn't done so since _Future Sight,_ when the Mending happened. (The Mending was the event represented by the card The Mending of Dominaria, which fundamentally changed the nature of planeswalking and caused planeswalkers to lose their godlike powers. The War of the Spark was Nicol Bolas's attempt to regain those powers.)
I know it's all a meme, but that question/answer actually bothers me because colorless is NOT a color. MTG has only 5 colors, and colorless purposefully isn't included in those 5. Oh well lol. I know it was "brown" and "silver" way back when, but it's identity now is definitely not that of a color.
@@Chris-et3xh technically anything that has the defined properties of black would be colorless and thus invisible. If we define the color black as the absence of all light or something that is black as something that absorbs all light, like a blackhole. Then there would be nothing to reflect into our eyes thus the object would be invisible to us.
I also mapped out game design ideas in Google Slides even before watching Noah, it's one of the fastest way to create shapes and move them on the spot. You don't have to select each objects layer first, can make a new slide fo a new idea instead of moving around on a whiteboard and share it with everyone that has a Google account.
Fun Fact: Blue-Eyes White Dragon has 20 different Ultra Rare printings with different prices, there is 0 chance you can guess that right. Especially considering First Edition Blue-Eyes are also in Ultra Rare Rarity and they are way more than 3.50$. And the one from Hidden Arsenal Chapter 1 is 70 Cents
You can accurately guess the blue eyes by the code at the bottom right of the art. This one reads: LDK2-ENK01. I have no idea what that means, but this what yugioh has instead of set symbols.
@@The_Arisen LDK2 means Legendary Decks II, which is the "set", and after is the card's code. Notably, that means this particular Blue-Eyes is a common printing, not an Ultra Rare.
@@artstsym correction, there are hundreds if not thousands of different listings of the same type of bewd with varying prices so there are far more chances than just 20.
"That's how I win my tournaments, I just wait for my opponents to lose." Now made even easier by the worldwide celebrity MagicTheNoah and his hit commander guide "How to lose magic as quickly as possible"
I found your channel cause of your rpgs and gameshows but I’m also super enjoying your mtg content, even though I have, like, less than zero knowledge of mtg. 10/10 learning a lot, love that wacky dragon w the blue eyes
I agree, all-out productions with professionals and editors and professional editors on RU-vid almost being the norm nowadays, this has a certain absolutely scuffed charm to it. :D
Super funny. You could probably improve the energy if you had they boys on cam and did some editing. These Collab videos are all about creating funny moments
As a mathematician and a colorless stan, there are only five colors in MTG (W, U, B, R, G), but 2^5 = 32 color _combinations_. W, U, B, R, G can be either depending on the context, while colorless is a color combination (consisting of no colors) but not a color.
