When I was 12 I went to a summer camp. I was wearing a bunch of bracelets and when I saw a lot kids were wearing them too, I put them in my suitcase immediately and never took them out again. I no longer stop doing what I want if other people do it too, but I sure as hell don’t do whatever else is doing. Appearance is art. I am the canvas.
I was literally thinking of this! But tbh there is two types the black girl influencers that caters to black audiences and the community is through and throu ,,, and the black girl she could still be darkskin but she caters to the the black girlies that were called whitewashed mixed girls multiculturals etc
The current trend is pretty basic and minimalistic, which I find to be a good thing because there’s a lot of room for customization or low effort styles. If everyone is bold and expressive, then nobody is.
@@gummy5862 wtf being bold or expressive isnt only exclusive to a small amount of people?? literally everyone could be bold and/or expressive, like if everyone just started wearing colourful clothing it wouldn't be any less colourful......i get you were tryna do something there but it doesn't make sense.....like maybe if we were talking about dressing "alternative" then yeah..
we've been through this a hundred times. and a new trend will happen and everyone will still look the same, just not this. this is what young people do and always have.
Please do the WOC influencer inspired glow up for black girls. I’m reeling from my first and worst breakup and I want to feel like me again by focusing on me, loving me, becoming whole again and giving myself the love that someone didn’t value. So I really just want to start feeling good about myself again because my ex never really called me cute, pretty or beautiful even though I never missed the opportunity to compliment him. Not gonna cry 😢
There are a lot of youtubers that have done these! They helped me a lot. Dear Peachie has some pretty good general advice for glowing up that anyone can use
This is such a cool concept. You put a lot of hardwork into your research and it definitely made you look like a instabaddie. Great job on the experiment!!
@@Maya_heeyou don’t see anything wrong with paying thousands of dollars to surgically change your original face just so you can look like a copy of 100 other ppl? Or copying what everyone else is doing because you believe that’s the only way to be pretty? Well that’s sad. And a bit immature. I really believe originality and being unique is 100000 times more beautiful than jumping on some bandwagon of insecurities and looking like a copy paste Pinterest/tiktok girl…. Like the whole reason “IT” girls are what they are is because they don’t try and copy anyone else. They have an original style based on their own likes and interests…they actually put something out into the world rather than copying lmao. The world is seriously going to shit why is everyone so brain dead lol
@@Maya_hee you don’t see anything wrong with literally just copying every other person you see? That’s sad. The whole reason why “IT” girls are what they are is because they actually do and wear things that they like, based on their interests and personal style. They actually put something out into the world rather than copying…it’s really braindead. This is not the same as looking for inspiration lol, it’s changing yourself step for step so you can look like a million of the same people on TikTok/pinterest… like how bout aspiring to be unique and different…like being yourself??? Idk as an artist who grew up without TikTok this is just sad. Creativity in young ppl has really gone down hill. The world keeps churning out copy after copy and you guys are trying to all become the same basic b
@@Maya_heeyou don’t see anything wrong with literally just copying other people and not figuring out what you actually like/being creative? Well that’s just sad. This is not the same as inspiration it’s jumping on an uninspired boring bandwagon of insecurities and dead creativity… like people are spending so much money on trying to all look like the same basic b… like the reason “IT” girls are what they are is because they wear and do things based on their actual interests/things that are personal to them. They like being different and actually put something out into the world. Being unique And owning it will always be more beautiful.
Hahaha I don’t think it’s that deep. But I’m doing a new series in juxtaposition to this, where I “glow up” based off of embracing my natural features, and dress according to comfort and personal taste. ❤️
I love everything other than what actually changes your natural appearance vs just lightly enhancing your own beauty - ie lip filler and makeup that makes you look very different. I think ppl should also use fashion to express their own personal style. But then I guess that wasn’t the point of this video lol I just wish ppl would celebrate authenticity A LOT more. That’s what’s truly beautiful to most of us. God bless! ⚡️❤️🔥
Ok I consume so much content but this video got me OBSESSED with you and the value you provide!! Keep it up please because you just got a new subscriber 😍😍
I LOVED this video. The dorky side of me loved seeing that stats, the girly side of me loved seeing the content. Thank you.. how fun. Also, I realized I’m doing almost all of these things, down to the hair and makeup.
Wow, this is so fascinating! I love analytic content like this. Honestly I think you look even better at the beginning of the video before the influencer look but that's my preferred aesthetic.
I would LOVE it if you did this analysis for east asian women! especially regarding photo editing, I think it would be quite different...maybe get an asian friend to be the "guinea pig" for the experiment! :D
I would love to see this for blonde blue eyed women. I did my makeup the same way yesterday and my husband was in love I looked very pinteresting and I did a beige type outfit
you genuinely look like a painting in the first picture with the warm filter on like damn, i see why you'd put that as ur picture it's freaking gorgeous
this is really interesting!! i’m curious to learn more about your methods- how did you select for “aesthetically pleasing” on your pinterest boards? did you choose what you found most aesthetically pleasing to add to the boards or did you just add pinterest’s suggestions? did you look up specific search terms to find your results? i’m interested to know if your personal bias towards trends had any influence over your results or if you designed this to be based on trends without personal bias? or was personal bias the point for a glow up that you wanted?
Good video. Love the Roxy reference. Also you kind of look like Debby Ryan(she's pretty and the show she starred in 'Insatiable' was awesome If you don't know who she is look her up or check out the show if you are looking for something kind of funny but also has glam and murder mystery.
If you do this again, make a new account while in incognito mode and do all the searching in incognito mode so your past Pinterest data and past browser data is not found. You would be as clean of a slate as possible.
By the way, I love the premise of this. Please apply stats to everything. I would love to see a lean/ pilates girl stat video. Just the stats & probability but then, someone will have to do the 1 to 6 month challenge........
