I was astounded when you showed us you were going to make individual feathers for the wings. And I know doing that took a great deal of time, from start to finish. But I was absolutely gobsmacked as you were preparing them for fitting on her back….you did BOTH SIDES OF THE WINGS!! Props to you, my lady, many props to you! That shows dedication, passion and love for your art (not to mention patience!). I love this little Centaurus (I believe that is what a female centaur is called. Grammarly said so. 😁) She is stunningly gorgeous. I’m retired and on a fixed income otherwise I would snap her up in a heartbeat! 😻

I honestly would love to see a centaur, but make it bohemian, fairycore. Centaurs usually make me think of something heavy, serious and tough, but I'd love to see something opposite of that. I'm thinking a fluffy horse part and a flowy, light dress with a train, fairy wings, flowers in the hair. All in mostly white and additional pastel colours. Maybe a bride centaur? That could be interesting :0.

I love the blending and freckles on her lower body as much as her face and torso. Every detail is stunning, including her golden fetlocks above her hooves. I imagined her whole character as queen of the forest interacting with her subjects while you brought her to life.

Another gorgeous repaint, @PoppenAtelier ! A forest guardian needs some glitz and glam to her, so of course she needed some gold! I imagine her painting her hooves gold and wearing her chains of office for special forest events, like yuletide, autumn festivals, and celebrating spring growth.

She’s absolutely Stunning.I love her face paint ,such pretty eyes,and hair colour is beautiful.I think keeping the horse natural along with her and just doing the wings,hooves and chains was perfect for her.Any more I think would have been too much.I love her this is a beautiful Christmas Doll.I really love her 🥰

I love it. Did you know? That type of face would be great to create a Na'vi, from the movie Avatar. I don't remember you doing any, right? There are very cool female characters in the second film. I would love to see any of them. Tsireya and Kiri are super cool 🥰

As someone who has made three sets of paper wings by hand, I'm fully impressed by these wings. I know what it's like to go piece by piece. It tkes a lot of patience, but it's definitely worth it.

This is a little niche, but I feel like you would have a lot of fun making a doll of Ce'Nedra from the Belgariad book series! She's half human, half dryad, and most often wears a Greek-inspired tunic and tiny, gold acorn earrings, but she also has a set of gold and blue plate armor. In the first book, this is how she is described: "a tiny girl...Her hair was a tumbled mass with long, elaborate curls cascading down over her neck and shoulders, and it was a color that Garion had never seen before, a deep, burnished red that seemed somehow to glow from within. Her skin was a golden color that seemed, as she swept through the shadows of the trees near the gate, to have an almost greenish cast to it. She was in a state verging on sheer rage." Her eyes are usually described as either agate or emerald, depending on her mood.

She looks wonderful! I'm always impressed when you turn a doll's skin color into something completely different from the original. The brown, tan, red, and gold colors are an interesting palette. I love her brown and gold freckles. One critique I have is I think you used too much gold leaf. The foil is so shiny that it is blinding and distracts from the other details of the doll. It's most apparent in the wings, it's so shiny that it hurts my eyes, and the foil smothers the feathers that you worked so hard on. A variety of golds would look better, like a mix of gold leaf and gold paint. Also, wings look different on each side. The feather pattern you used fits the front wing side, but it would be different on the back. Also, the word for the equipment put on a horse's body is tack. The doll's harness is based on a bridle and reins. A bridle is a harness that goes around the horse's head, which is attacthed to reins that the rider pulls to steer the horse.

The doll is gorgeous as usual, your work is always beautiful.🤩 I would love to see your style/interpretation of the characters from Arcane/League of Legends (Jinx, Violet, Mel). On a darker/creepier side, would also love to see your take on American McGee's Alice (in Wonderland), which has great outfits your mom could help with as well as tons of unique and different accessories for you to create. I love how you got through your transformation and then found a pair of purple ears sticking out the flaming red hair. I had a chuckle at that too! But in the end, she went from a doll that I thought of a drab to FAB! (FABULOUS)

Absolutely gorgeous, in my opinion your most beautiful doll so far. Wished for a headpeace, but it's ok 😘or some arrows and a bow maybe. In the beginning I thought "please, please make her ginger" and then "please, please, freckles" and my wishes came true😊

Lovely doll! She kinda looks like lindsay lohan, but in a beyoncé costume 😅 I haven‘t seen you do a male doll in a while. How about a christmas/winter themed male doll? Or an elf family? You could branch out into mini dioramas featuring your dolls in fantasy settings. I’d love to see you make more props for your dolls, and I wouldn‘t mind watching a long project split up into many videos.

Was very happy to see this had just dropped in time for me to enjoy it during lunch! I love how the doll came out and your work stuns as always, Poppen! Yet, I also found myself wondering about the golden wings. Don't get me wrong, they're gorgeous - a real show-stopper. It's just, in my opinion, golden wings - particularly when coated with gold foil/gold leaf (not sure the right term) come across as actual metal, which kind of clashes with how I think of a natural creature like a centaur would look. I'm not sure if a painted approach (or even coating the wings in feathers/fluff of a certain color) would have worked better, though I acknowledge the latter option would have probably made them too bulky. Also, it would have been cool if the green from her eyes could have featured elsewhere in the design, perhaps as a contrasting color in her bodice. All of that said, the outcome was still totally gorgeous!

Some ideas for you, Maryna: 1. A whole series of centaurs or unicorns with different themes (Asian, Goth, African, Latin, etc.) 2. A set of two dolls: Jareth and Sarah from the classic movie Labyrinth 3. A series of dolls based on animals : Lion, Eagle, Orca, etc. 4: Princess Lilli from the 1985 film Legend (Dark Lilli and Innocent Lilli)

This is absolutely beautiful! Well done! My only nitpick isn't with you, but with the original doll manufacturers. How on earth would those wings get her off the ground attached to her human torso? To function at all, they'd have to be part of the horse body, otherwise it would just be dangling down behind her. You did a fantastic job with what they gave you to work with.
