I Made A Huge Mistake In BREATH OF THE WILD Permadeath 

It is absolutely on brand that Quin's first "death" is to a random goblin he was messing around with, and not to any of the enemies he was actually afraid of.

IMPORTANT NOTE I FORGOT LAST TIME: When you do the Vah Naboris quest, be sure to sneak around the Yoga guards, as their attacks WILL kill you through Mipha’s grace and fairies, it does not matter how many revives you have, you WILL get game over’d if your hearts drop to zero in the yiga hideout

I just love how Quin makes more and more excuses to play BOTW and I’m honestly all here for it, I started watching Quin when he started playing this game and I’ve been following him on his journey for so long. Thank you Quin for making me smile and laugh every day for the past few years!

Now that I'm constantly watching someone playing the full phantom set, it looks kinda badass actually... anyway, another episode of permadeath that made me tense as hell but also me die laughing. This is being the best series so far imo and I love how Quin loves this game as much as I do lol

This is truly the Dark Souls experience. You dodge all the arrows elegantly but the one time you decide to attack the boss just one hits you.

once you're done with permadeath, I vote you do a no fast travel run! It sounds simple/tedious but I finally did one and it is without a doubt my FAVORITE playthrough I've ever done. Using windbombs is allowed (but discouraged esp in populated areas), BLSS is not, riding animals encouraged. Really makes the horsies more useful and bonding with them more fun, too :P I wound up having SO MUCH FUN and making little stories for myself by accident. I found myself apprenticing that one NPC who's obsessed with the blood moon, became a bodyguard for an NPC retracing zelda's steps, etc, etc. Even without all that though the immersion is so cool without fast travel. Makes the world feel more vast and awe-inspiring and more rewarding to reach certain areas. I've played this game SO many times in SO many ways and this run feels so different, like a whole new game, almost

What is forgotten are the challenge parameters. Can we just stop and admire the EFFICIENCY of that Bokoblin's archery? Rapid fire shots, pretty accurate, and on horseback...if only it didn't come at such a high price

Next episode, you should go for thunderblight, because the blights scale in health AND attack power, so if you go thunderblight now, he'll have 1200 rather than 2000 which is what it would be if you fought him last, and you have the master sword, phantom armor, and 13 hearts. you could also get electricity resistant food so you'll be immune to the shock portion of his attacks north akkala has a lot of zapshrooms specifically in north akkala valley and rok woods. Though be careful because north akkala valley contains a lynel

I have an idea for miphas grace. Instead of losing after on use, you can get it back after a set amount of videos of BoTW permadeath. You can decide how many videos you need to make to get miphas grace again

It's so great to find someone who loves BOTW so much. And it has gotten me into trying new things in BOTW as well even though I've been playing for over 250 hours since i got it. New rule: Cannot tp away to safety if your about to die, Eg - your on 1 heart and a guardian is about to laser you

I just found your channel recently and this is probably one of my favorite botw series ever, absolutely love it!

Best way to dodge thunderblight is to lock onto him and once he starts zipping left and right, do 1 back flip he'll land right in front of you and you can slap him up. He always lands where you were when he started moving. So one back flip is perfect

I did naboris on my permadeath playthrough today and I forgot just how gorgeous gerudo desert is.

Quin, btw, you can do a launch with wooden boxes called kibako launches were you put a bomb on the side of the box on the ground and go on top of the box then go to the edge with your shield out and explode the bomb. It's fun and it can get you to the labyrinth really quick. You can find a wooden box on the cliff going to the labyrinth by the tech lab.

to save you the trouble but still make it fairly difficult i feel like you should use miphas grace/a fairy after the blood moon resets

for thunderblight, if you get the rubber armour and upgrade the full set twice it makes you unshockable so you only have to worry about damage

Hey Quin, little tip for ya! When fighting a guardian, try to get on the slop-ish part of their body so you're facing its eye, and backflip so you can get in bullet time and spam arrows! Also, fun fact: when freezing an ennemy, the damage output of the weapon you use to de-freeze him is multiplied by 3!

Learned this a little while ago but if you use stasis all non dead dead guardians glow

Quin just saying I recommend aiming at the dragon’s horn because they sell for the most.

You might not see this but you can farm hearty durians and cook them and if you cook a singular one you get full health recovery and bonus hearts which is essentially a miphas grave before you die.(:

the ancient shield isn’t what you’re expecting bro, it only auto reflects guardian lasers and will still take damage from them. if you don’t want it to break you have to parry like a normal shield.

Quin lost Miphas Grace not in a dumb way, but in a Quin way, and thats why I love him

that same horse guy literally killed me like four times before i gave up it was so embarrassing

Hey Quin, maybe you could add another rule to make this playthrough even more challenging and fun. My idea would be, that you are not allowed to teleport out of combat that you have already engaged.🔥

Fact: if you initiate an elemental great sword spin; and before it starts doing damage you pull out your bow (it's precise) the swords energy never runs out; meaning you can permafreeze any enemy with that frostsword also you can't freeze guardians of thunderblight so this information is redundant

If youre worried about thunder-blight, you need to do him sooner than later so the enemy scaling gives him less health

In a test of strenght u can actually fly up and attack them with arrows if they spin

I can’t believe that is how Quin lost his 1 Mipha’s grace

Quin, just fyi, there’s no particular reason to specifically combo a flame weapon out of an enemy being frozen. The elemental damage from the flame sword just tacks on like 5 damage to the base damage, there’s no special mechanic for doing more damage with fire on frozen enemies. Probably would’ve recommended using up your degraded guardian weapons instead because they do way more damage on guardians and you knew you’d be getting new ones from defeating the test of strength anyway, so you might as well use them up, as opposed to the flame sword which has a ton of other utility and would be more helpful on enemies that it stuns for longer from the fire, or dealing more damage over time by lighting grass at their feet on fire at the same time.

I am not scares of guardians, ganon, lynels, hinoxes. But bokoblins on horses? They terrify me. I will run the other direction.
