Hey you can still get your stuff within 5 minutes of you dying and since no one is over there the chunks aren't loaded so the timer is paysed, so if you can remember how to get there you can get your stuff back. :)

minecraft advice: Instead of getting diamond armour get 5 diamonds and make a diamond pickaxe, mine 4 obsidian, get 3 sugar canes to make paper, kill a cow for 1 leather to make a book. After all of that make an enchant table. Use iron armour so it's easier to get multiple sets of armour to get prot 2 or 3 or whatever. Unless you have a lot of diamonds.

Lilly, you can make note blocks(8 wood around 1 redstone), tune them to different keys and make them sound like different things depending on what they are on top of.
