I don’t think you made a mistake. I think the pink bb is perfect for spring/summer weddings, brunch/lunch, nicer events. It’s a really pretty, neutral pink. You may not use it often but it’s a lifetime bag that will serve you well and never be dated. The mulberry, to me, looks like a more casual everyday bag.
That’s a great perspective. It is a timeless bag and would be great for all of those occasions. I love to carry my Alma BB’s top handle and the mulberry is more of a cross body bag. 🌸
Ok, so I think you should keep both for a while and use them both before making a decision to let one go. You can always let one go later, but if you let it go too soon, you don’t want to regret that decision too! (And that said, I love the pink Alma and would totally be open to a trade. 😅)

I think the bags are both beautiful, but they serve different purposes. The Mulberry is more sporty, and the Alma BB is more dressy. You can put scarves or charms on it and give it different looks. I would trade the Mulberry for a green one and keep the Alma. Also, pink is kind of neutral to me. You can mix a scarf that is ping and green, or wear closes that are also pink and green and match it. Charms look really nice on the Alma ❤
Those are two completely different bags. The Mulberry is far more casual and has a different vibe than the Alma. The pink Alma just looks classy. This is coming from a bag person that is not a fan of Louis Vuitton. I’d rather have bags from other design houses.
My concern is more with the color. I don’t wear pink often. I gravitate towards greens, blues, and whites most. So I’m worried one will just be left sitting on my shelf. Now if they were different colors it would be a no brainer, I’d keep both.
Both are stunning! Even though the colors are similar I think they are very different bags and serve different functions. I say keep them both unless you find something you love move. I’d keep them both!! 🙂 Ps where did you get that organizer from?
Hi Melissa, the bags are similar but very different... Imo...I see the Mulberry as more of a casual everyday bag and the Alma as more of a dress up special event bag, the Mulberry is a better for cross body or shoulder bag style as the Alma only looks good as a handheld bag... again in my opinion. I'm team Mulberry on this one and yes please do get another YSL College one of my favorite all time bags : )
H Mel, I would just keep one. They are very similar in size and color. I thing you are right about not needing two pink bags in your collection. I follow you on IG and I don't see you wearing a lot of pink.

Similar color,both bags are beautiful..both give a different vibe but in this video the Alma bb looks good with your outfit..you should put together different outfits to see which bag goes best with your wardrobe…
I think they’re different but I see how the color is similar. But personally they are different to me. I regret not buying that alma bb when it was available. I’ve been on the hunt for it. Let me know if you’re interested in selling it. But personally I think they are different styles unique in their own way.
both are two diff vibe. LV BB is time piece will go taste of time. and mulberry is def a every day for run errands. Just my humble opinion, but at the end of day, is your call.
The ALMA is such a gorgeous classic. The mulberry is not....I would sell the Mulberry.... I also feel like there's no comparison between the 2 of them its like comparing an audi vs a kia....sorry mulberry to me is not a luxury brand like LV.

Where did you get your organizer? Is it floral? Keep both bags. The Alma can be dressed down. Mink4all always says “I wear the bag the bag does not wear me.” Just enjoy it as a “for now piece” in your collection. 😊
What a pretty bag in a pretty color. Sometimes I do this if I have 2 bags that could usually be used in the same situations. I just decide in advance that one bag I'll wear in x circumstances and the other I'll wear in y circumstances, so making a distinction where there wasn't an obvious one before. For example, though they are both pink and of a similar size, the Alma is a bit more structured and a kind of fancier, while the Alexa is a little more casual. You could then, for example, wear the Alma for fancier outfits and the Alexa for more billowy outfits. But I understand. I recently got a bag in black, which is my 2nd black bag, and it directly competes with my other black bag. :(
I think if it were a color I reached for often then I could justify having both. They are both beautiful bags and structured differently. The Alma BB is Moore of a top handle bag for me and The Mulberry is more Crossbody bag for me.
I'm sorry you're missing your tradeaway but I understand if the color wasn't quite right. I don't think it's excessive to have 2 beautiful pink bags (maybe because I do😂) I think the Alma is finding her way into your heart.💗🌻
Hi Linda 🩵🩵. I’m not missing my trade away bag. She went to a good home 😉. The color wasn’t right for me and I got 3 years of good use out of it. I am warming up to the Alma. It’s one of my favorite styles and is so easy to use.
Melissa I love 💕 both bags. They are fantastic bags. I think the style of the bags are different for different occasions so keeping both would be beneficial. I’m curious to learn what you decided tfs 🛍️👛🚢🙏🦆
Other than the color being close, I don’t see them as being that similar. The Alma is classier and refined with clean lines. You have a casual bag and a dressier bag now in a beautiful shade of pink. Pink is basically a neutral! Keep them both!
I agree - my favorite color is lavender and I ALWAYS fall for it when it comes to handbags … but the same is true when it comes to clothing, so I’m finding that accessorizing my outfit with a contrasting color that pops can be more complimentary than being so monochrome or trying to match the shades.
I would swap out the mulberry for a different colour! I love the Louis and the pink. The mulberry comes in so many options. I think the alma pink goes with more clothing too 😮 Goodluck. I love my college bag too 😂
Both bags are stunning! I do have an epi alma MM. i would keep them and add a green bandeau. Plus the Alma Epi has silver hardware vs the rest if your bags have gold.

This is a tough one! I think this color is so beautiful for you. They are different bags. Alexa can be worn casually & crossbody. Alma is so ladylike & elegant. Keep them both for now & see how it goes!
That is what I’m learning towards. See if I gravitate towards one more than the other or if both fit into my collection. I love the top handles on the Alma.
I’m facing the same issue with my college bag! I love the style but I have the rose beige colour (same as Erin HBH) and it’s too cool-toned for my wardrobe. Not a RU-vidr but totally would have traded for that red one you had.
Both are so pretty!! Now I know what you meant when you said similar color in previous video. I’d definitely wait a little and see which one you reach for more especially with spring and summer coming. I know you said Arizona is always warm so you would prob use them year around. I’m sure you’ll figure it out once you start styling your outfits and which one you reach for more. Enjoy 🌸
That’s the plan. I want to see which one I gravitate towards more. Which one is easiest to use, which one works best with my closet, ect. Hopefully they will both work for me. 🌸

Melissa firstly cut yourself some slack and don’t expect yourself to be perfect. You are doing great! I’m loving that you’re Shari g this with us and I think it makes others reflect on what they are do I g as well. It does me. And we only learn more as we regret some of the decisions we make. Because sometimes we don’t realize it’s a mistake until it’s happened. I dont think they are the same bag because they are just different. Yes they are a similar size and color but They look very different to me in all other ways. The Alma CAn be dressed up where the Alexa is quite casual. The color for both are very pretty. But if you’re not a lover of a particular color you probably shouldn’t have multiple bags in that color. I don’t love red so I have only one dark red bag (which I love as a winter pop of color). I have the rose ballerine Alma and a Chanel pink mini with top handle and a pink ysl large woc. And I’m sire I’ll get another pink bag some time. Love them all but I do love pink. Don’t rush to make a decision on these but if the Alma in this color doesn’t make your heart sing, think about another color that does and ask for a trade in that. Can’t wait to see what happens.
I do love pink but I don’t see myself reaching for pink as often as let’s say a green bag or white. I’ll probably hang onto both for a while before I make a decision. The Alma BB is one of my favorite styles so I may surprise myself with how much I use it.
@@MelissaAdams-Wade you’re right no rush on deciding. Color for me is a big factor in the bag I choose with an outfit. Most of my bags are either flap or top handle with a strap as those are the styles I like. So color is a major distinguishing factor for me. Light and colorful pieces in the summer and mostly black with some darker colors in winter. If I’m not drawn to the color of a bag I won’t use it. But if I love the color I find excuses to use it. Have fun deciding!
You rushed one decision, I would recommend not rushing again! 😘 #1 the Alma will hold it’s value so much better. #2 you haven’t had the Mulberry long enough to know wear & tear etc….
Love the YSL and also de Alma BB… the only thing I don’t like much is the silver hardware but I think even though it’s pink like the other bag it’s a total different style, the Alma is more dressy and chic, the other is more casual-edgy in my opinion 🩷 give it a thought for a while before you make any decision
