Something about the contestants not knowing the final price money made this a lot more wholesome because they used their willpower without any expectations and were rewarded greatly.
The good attitudes of these people to come do this and even participate/stay in circle after being told it was $8 is amazing. They even filmed. Played along. They all passed vibe check. I loved this
Part of me thinks he must have told them they will at least get $500 for being in the video. Otherwise I feel only his friends would have done it. How did he get their payment info? Possibly after the video, but I just don't think they would have said yes without that incentive. The pitch: "Hey, I'll pay you $500 for being in this video, the prize, $8"
I love the vibes every Ryan video brings, seems to be one of the only creators out there to this day to stick true to himself whilst sharing his unique lifestyle and storyline.
The fact that it wasnt even the contestants against one another but rather it was Ryan vs the contestants for the most of the video made this a lot funnier
This comment made me realize that the reason why there’s rivalry in mr. Beasts videos IS bc of the money, which totally makes sense. For $3 you won’t make a big fuss over losing but for a big amount you will try your best to not lose and if someone’s is on your way of that big money than you’ll do what you can to get them out of it.
I love how this turned in the perfect example of cognitive dissonance, making the fact of staying there more rewarding because the prize was so insignificant to begin with. This is actually a great strategy for people that want to do things like these on a very low budget.
@@PairoDraws on my screen at least my comment is above this one and a scam pretending to be ryan is commenting on his vids and comments trying to get you to press a link so i think thats what they mean.
I don’t understand how people can call Ryan socially awkward when he can literally go up to strangers on the street and convince them to sit in a circle for $8
there are different levels of social awkwardness i guess. You can be really socially awkward where you struggle to approach people or you can be a little socially awkward where you just dont know how to act around people
I agree with you. This video was incredibly touching, the way the loses and wins of the contestants and how they were perceived was very moving. I have been moved like a car. Vroom vroom.
Did not expect that ending at all. It seems like such a Ryan move to just stick it to the end with the set goal in mind, and its really nice seeing the contestants being chill abt everything
Man the chemistry all those people had was unexpected. It was wholesome to see them get along, and bittersweet to see them lose. Ryan may have given them all 500 dollars but the friends he made for them is worth even more.
I mean, is it really unexpected? None of them really went in it for the money obviously. They were all just like, "Sure, I have nothing else going on, sounds fun." And when you have that mind set; you find common ground with almost everyone.
the fact everyone took part in trying to win just 3 dollars was amazing. you never know what could happen in the end. so glad he gave them 10,000 dollars! they deserved it!
I like how you were giving the circle "cut in half" a nice fade job for no reason. It's a nice little added touch. :) . . . and a good way to use spray paint on someone's nicely mowed field. You know, I thought spray paint was one word. But, it isn't.
This video is a masterpiece. It shows the power of commitment. Ryan has shown that we can do anything. All we need is creativity and the courage to take the action.
The fact that you made people other than your family and friends compete for 8 dollars is aspiring. Those participating were good sports for doing so. Cool ending too.
I actually feel like MrBeast is a fair comparison content-wise. Jimmy's earlier videos when he first started doing this red circle stuff was kinda like this. But Ryan's personality is more charming/innocent and Jimmy's personality was more hype. Love both of their videos but do enjoy the way Ryan does it more. Ryan's content makes me die inside, but it's an addiction.
I love how the challenge starts out with seeing how long the contestants will last in the circle, to Ryan trying to get them to leave, because he didn’t expect them to stay so long. This was a super cute video ❤
I respect you so much man. You are so talented and cute. Wish you the best. I see a bright future, although you are living a golden time right now too!
It was really cool to see how many stuck around for such a low prize, and just to find out the amount at the end. Really cool idea and great execution. Ryan never fails to entertain.
I went back and watched this video again just to make sure I didn't change my mind, and I didn't. This is without a doubt my personal favorite video on all of RU-vid.

The way the group connected through the circle game is so wholesome. Chilling and being down with just hanging with people no matter how much the prize money was ❤
