From what I understand from when I tried making Bulgogi, kiwi has some special enzyme that tenderizes the meat differently than normal. Didn’t notice too much of a flavour change but the texture was a bit better in my opinion. Worth a try if you haven’t had it before I’d say!

It's like when you marinate a steak in pinneaple ! The enzyme in both kiwi and pinnapeaple tenderize the meat really well in a short amount of time, tried it and honestly there was no change in flavor, I always recommend it to people since !

Oh come on! As a non-italian, i respect the opinions but the pizza with pineapple is actually good, its worse if you put ketchup ON the pizza.

You have to understand a fundamental rule in italian cooking and sense of taste: you CAN'T mix salted food with sugary food (with rare exceptions, like cheese and honey). Our entire sense of taste is developed like this, that's why our breakfast is very sweet. At lunch and dinner we can have sweet at the end like sugared coffee, desserts and fruit. We don't drink milk, juices, coffee or soda while we are eating pasta, soup, beef, fish ecc we basically drink water, wine or beer. Also McDonald's tastes funny for us because of the sugar being present in every dish, also in the bread and the salad.

@@joetonny5843 that's fine but the fake Italians who throw a massive fit because they saw someone eat pineapple pizza, like damn, are people not allowed to like what they wanna like? I mean I get some people don't like it either because the texture doesn't work with the sauce and crust, or they just don't like the sweet taste of pineapple pared with the salty and savory flavors but some people do it to much, because you can't go one with it included without atleast one person whining about it. It just gets really annoying seeing these people do this shit lmao.

When she does something like drinking hot tea with pasta I mock her like "agh you wanna kill me!" like an exaggeration. Obviously I wouldn't die for drinking tea with pasta or eating pinapple pizza, when i was 15 I used to eat spaghetti with ketchup
