He had joined them in for a little while when they were still trainees, but he didn't end up debuting with Ateez because he had trained for only 2 months. He is back to being a trainee now. If you watch the KQ fellaz American training on their youtube you can see Junyoung appear after a few episodes. Hope this answered your question ❤
