Here's a fun fact for you, Kev. When you were mentioning the ship bending at around the 5:45 mark, that is actually a trait in many large ships i real life. They're built with a little bit of bend in them so as to make them less rigid, as rough waves could do more damage if the boat was totally rigid. Granted I don't think they're supposed to do it to that extent...

So yes,here's the answer to Kevin's question that no one cares about: Yes. Ships do flex and bend on the water. It helps relieve stress on the infrastructure and generally helps it travel with much less chance of breakage. So, there's some useless info for ya.
