Thanks a ton! I had a different idea for that section but was drinking my coffee and peppercorn ran like a crazy cat and jumped up by the board games and I saw my copy and it inspired me. I knew that kitten was a good one.
I loved this video! Especially the visualizations with the boardgame. I could never do a speed run because I change my mind and forget things all the time!
The crates have the contents predetermined per each floor for each day. You can plan around this to get the weapon you want. Haboo has mentioned before for certain runs when he needs a club. I think the digging in the mines also works off of Stardew's very easy to determine pseudo-RNG, so you could probably speed up the digging too.
Generally I don't see the appeal of speed runs, unless it's for completion. Like getting perfection in SV. So I don't usually watch that content and find it so tiring that creators keep trying to find hundreds of ideas just to put out any content. That's the main reason I like this channel I guess, cause you mostly just play the game! And you're super nice and fun and chill.
