In this video I show how to make a small crocheted purse using sequins and crochet floss.

I bought my first sequined coin purse when I was 12-13 , gold one I absolutely fell in love & had to have , that was the first time I’d seen sequins ! I work with them , for crafting, Xmas stockings etc ! I haven’t pushed myself to do a purse like you but I think you’ve convinced me ! The clasps are very hard to find even if you go to Hobby lobby & Joanns, maybe Michaels will have ! Love your tutorial ! Winter will be a good time for me instead of just sitting around , let’s get started !

Wow! Happy to have inspired you to do your own - I hope you have fun with it and it turns out well 😊. The clasps are definitely an issue, I usually get mine from Amazon here in the UK but it often takes a while. When you do get a hold of some, enjoy it!

Would have liked some additional information on how to do this project along with hook size you used. While they are very pretty, for most of us, they are impossible to replicate without a pattern.

Hi Marianne, this isn't really a tutorial as such, but I am using a 4mm hook. I have mentioned before that I don't have my patterns organised enough yet to publish them.

I'm from the UK and I get most of my supplies from either Amazon or local stores. But the frames in particular are from Amazon.

Depends on the size/weight of the yarn and the clasp. For this one it was around 35-40 rounds.
