David, I'm in the helmet and other protective equipment school like at least one of the commenter below. I don't know about ATVs but half of the fatalities on motorcycles are caused by head injuries. Have fun but please be careful. Keep the good stuff coming and give Sweetie a treat for me.

Honestly I was thinking maybe a 250 is in my future. The 700 is just an absurd amount of power. Also, the 250's are smaller and would fit even better in the back of my truck. We'll see how it goes.
If you two are still considering buying a fifth wheel, you might need to look at a toy hauler. I heard they're great for boondocking too since they tend to have large tanks.
Ditto get a full face helmet. My daughter wore a skull cap that was legal, face planted into the back of the drivers helmet, and is now blind from a brain injury.

Kinda seems like a 4x4 utility quad would be your style. Such as the Yamaha Grizzly. 4wd, winch, racks, independent suspension front and rear, space for an extra person etc. Raptor is cool, especially the 700, but for adventuring a utility quad would be the ticket.

nothing wrong with impuls buying, but that is going to be fast it is compact, i personly would trade it for a 400 can am 2 seater . it would be more of a ulity that a fast ripinig of your neck, iv had several 4 wheelers that is all so a 2 wheel drive if you were out in the desert 4X4 whould surve your needs better ... as a search & rescue i only say this becouse you are out there im just looking ahead being prepaired,, now the grader i would put a add in the local paper looking for a machanic but check his qualifacations that road Grader could be used to later expand the Camp ground and the fire truck should be up and running to preserve the forest just a little hindsight ... bardering with some one to fix or evelouate the condishion of theses first .. sweet good to see you guys be carful with that Quad they get sideways fast .. happy to see you guys doing what you both love
I agree that a utility 4x4 ATV would probably fit our needs better but they're just too big. This Raptor will JJUUSSTT fit under the camper shell in the bed of my truck, a utility ATV has no chance.
It can certainly output enough power to run the AC, but it only has just over 2000Wh of battery capacity, so an RV AC pulling 1500W would drain it in just over an hour
If you want to ride 2 up on a quad, you may be better off with a utility quad. Riding 2 up on a sport quad can be a little sketchy. Get some protective gear.
Hahaha. Man, you pulled out every lame excuse to justify buying that thing. Don’t get me wrong, a Raptor is a beast and a rocket!! You’re right it. Is. FUN! That thing was made to RIP! As a tool to go exploring on or riding two up, there’s probably 40 other 4 wheelers that would be 4x4 and possibly pull your truck out of a bog. Don’t worry, wink wink, I won’t rat you out on the adrenaline filled reason you really picked a 700 Raptor. Enjoy. Be safe. Get some gear and wear it.
Well honestly the reason I went with a sport quad instead of a utility 4x4 quad is because they're too big to fit in the back of my truck under the camper shell. The Raptor is JJUUSSTT small enough to squeeze in there. A utility quad probably would fit our needs better but they're just too big.
If you become a skilled rider over time you can do 90% of the trail stuff, granted the utilitarian value of a big 4x4 ATV cannot be understated. Signed…Owner of 2 Rap 700’s an 03’ 660 and a giant 4x4 ATV. Lol
It is a manual and no it doesn't run. Who knows how long it's been sitting up there and why it's being used to store another non-running machine in the back of it.

Don't disagree he's absolutely crazy if he thinks that thing is worth more than three grand And he's from the Midwest so you can buy those things day and night out here for three grand that will hardly driven
