Well, I never! Lol, couldn't figure it out at all until the end, well done! I really like that sliding jig you made for your table saw, never thought of that but I want one now. Thanks.
It is called "Penrose Triangle". The Penrose triangle, also known as the Penrose tribar, the impossible tribar,or the impossible triangle, is a triangular imposdible onject. an optical illusion consisting of an object which can be depicted in a perspective drawing, but cannot exist as a solid object. It was first created by the Swedish artist Oscar Reutersvärd in 1934. Independently from Reutersvärd, the triangle was devised and popularized in the 1950s by psychiatrist Lionel Penrose and his son, prominent Nobel Prize-winning mathematician Sir Roger Penrose, who described it as "impossibility in its purest form". It is featured prominently in the works of artist M. C. Escher, whose earlier depictions of impossible objects partly inspired it.
THANK YOU !!! I learned alot. I have seen that, even back when I was taking industrial drafting, back before CAD came out. That's another reason I read comments! There's a world of knowledge out there! Thanks!
That was awesome. I had to watch the whole video to see how you did it. It’s mine blowing I’m high and I just was blown away trying to figure it out. That was the coolest thing. Optical illusions are awesome with what the eye sees the mind translates and what it translate is awesome because of what it sees it thinks it sees but not more videos please I love things like that
The reflection in the hand saw reminded of a trick a craftsman showed me about how to use a typical cross cut hand saw. My cuts were always crooked. He said to look at the reflection and hold the saw so the reflection in the saw lines up straight with the wood. Simple and very effective.
@@letsfix23 This same craftsman was adamant about correct terminology. If I called a twist drill a "drill bit" (like almost everybody does), he would say, "NO! A drill bit has a square tapered shank to use in a brace and bit. You have a twist drill." Or if I called a lengthwise machined recess in wood a "dado" he said, "NO! A dado is crosswise to the grain. With the grain it is a groove."
😂😂😂 Jajaja! Extraordinario! Me quedé absorto viendo tu video. Felicidades, tienes un taller maravilloso y tú talento es formidable. Gracias por compartir 🫀
The project was fun, do it! The two bottom ones and the part that goes up are 20cm long and 3,5cm thick. the upper part is 12 cm long. Each angle is 45 degrees
Brilliant work, dude! Nicely done! 😃 Things like that are fantastic for kids! Puzzles as well, I want to make some. But for myself, I don't have kids (at least that I know of 😬). Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Hahahahahaah.. well don anyway.. if the camera moves just a little, the effect is gone... Fantastic.. It can only be seen in one direction... Good one.!!
Hey leuk om dit te delen met ons, goed begonnen dacht Ik ik maak er ook één maar …….geen afmetingen en hoe bepaalde je de schuinte op het laatste stuk jammer dat je dit niet deelt
Thanks! The two bottom ones and the part that goes up are 20cm long and 3,5cm thick. the upper part is 12 cm long. Each angle is 45 degrees. You have to look with your eyes for the last part. But in my case it was att 45 degrees aswell. Have fun building it 😀
Fascinating to see. However what a dangerous way you used that band saw, if your hand had slipped it would have been disastrous. You should have used a push stick.
Thank you. In my case, because the bench has to be light so that it can be placed elsewhere for different projects. And my garage floor is very bad for having the bench on wheels. In the future I will definitely build a better one. 🙂
