@@G-GUMMA it’s a collaborative fan game made by the people behind the Yume Nikki Online project, it’s pretty much advertised nowhere but on their discord so it’s not weird that you don’t know about it. I’d personally recommend trying to contribute to Yume 2kki instead, as collective unconscious is inevitably doomed to fail just like previous attempts at rivalling Yume 2kki with a new collaborative fan game. Frankly all Collective Unconscious is doing is stealing away potential western contributors from Yume 2kki. And that is ignoring the fact that the YNO people are a bunch of self righteous assholes who silence anyone they disagree with, or who dares mention anything about their own trauma on their server related to a game featuring themes of suicide, self harm, abuse and general trauma.

@@wockyslush1272 either way, my personal vendetta towards them doesn’t matter, I’d still suggest contributing to Yume 2kki instead, collective unconscious is gonna fail to remain in active development when it eventually releases, because no matter how much they manage to put in the game is gonna be comparatively minuscule to the 15+ years of content in Yume 2kki, no matter how good the game may actually be. Case in point, every previous collaborative fan game trying to be the international Yume 2kki. The game is never gonna become the “new big collaborative fan game” and I doubt it’s really even intending to do that, but it is nevertheless taking western contributors from Yume 2kki. At least they’re so incompetent they barely advertise the game anywhere so the actual damage is pretty minimal (the lack of promoting the game outside of their discord also kinda goes in the face of the idea of a collaborative fan game by having such a “secretive” development).
