Today I attempted a new challenge where I try to recreate a song in only 10 minutes... (but this time I can hear what I'm doing). I thought what better song to try to make in 10 minutes than the timeless classic Bohemian Rhapsody.
This format is super new and I've never done anything like this before so if you have any feedback on how to make it better or what else you'd wanna see on this channel in general PLEASE let me know!! thanks for WATCHING!

I think you should do what you accidentally did here - 10 or 20 minutes to make a song but you can pause and think whenever. One moment you're calmly explaining your plan, the next you're ripping through shake it off at 3 times the speed, then pausing and silently questioning everything. (so in other words just an average dev limes video) ok edit but you have to then slow it down and listen to it at normal tempo.

I love this concept, the high stress is super fun but one way to maybe iron out the concept is to change the amount of time you give yourself based on how challenging the song is. Like for a more simple pop song 10 minutes, but for something longer and more elaborate you could do 20-30 minutes and sort of fluctuate it. But even still, i love this series idea and it gave me a lot of good laughs :)

Under 30 minutes could work. It still has a time constraint which adds to the comedy but it’s giving you some space so you don’t have to do the vocals in a breathless one take. I don’t know why, but I really want you to re-record The Shaggs’ Philosophy of the World record and make it sound good. That’d be a fun challenge.

I like this format. Definitely do this again!!! But you gotta pick like... All the Small Things. Something with a chorus, two maybe three distinct rotations, and simpler instrumentation. Rhapsody is basically six minutes of opera.

Try a 4 minute song next and gradually lower the time until its listenable, then start increasing the difficulty with different songs until you're able to make Bohemian Rhapsody in 5 minutes

One of your videos showed up in my Recommended feed and I thought "this seems funny enough to give it a watch". I laughed plenty as a result, but decided that I didn't want my RU-vid recommended algorithm to be all messed up by watching another of your videos. The next day (today), I have a number of your videos recommended, and I decided to just go ahead and watch. I've spent the past few hours watching Dev Limes and Queef Jerky videos in utter amazement at how ridiculously crazy this stuff is. If I were your age, I'd probably be doing something like this. Instead, I'm an old man whose RU-vid recommends list is now permanently altered by your insanity. Thank you :)
