One of my favorite plays, which is actually a classic play by Mikhail Tal, is the Lawyer Run, where white, if he invested more in his intelligence and charm stats, could've tried to negotiate with fine rhetoric to the Devil as to convince him to distrust and turn against black, though this usually works better when you play defensively and drag the game for a little.

Having playtested this (a couple weeks prior); I can attest that this is a lot less confusing when you’re playing it. Watching the chaos of this match feels like a fever dream in the best way.

Not only has Jreg created an extremely diverse and shockingly deep homebrew chess mod that taps all of the common features in popular CYOA / Broquest-esque content and ackchewally executed it in a live game with friends - he's also spun it into a farcical rollercoaster narrative of game-fantasy-religious kitchen sink chicanery on par with Problem Sleuth and early, good Homestuck. In awe of this lad, monument to Youtubing. 👌
