I made improved adjusters for the homemade guide rails on my Granberg Alaskan  

You can buy a set of EZ rails for hundreds of dollars or you can use an old aluminium ladder and make your own.
At first I just used some lag screw to level the rails but those were too fiddly and to flimsy to do the job.
