Is it possible to recreate all the new mechanics from Super Mario Bros. Wonder inside of Super Mario Maker 2? I push the game to the limits to see what I can create for Nintendo's new 2D Mario game.

Wonder's gameplay seems to be entirely centered around the Wonder Flower, which basically makes everything a fever dream. I can tell how hard it was to replicate this, and it might be just as hard even if it was hypothetically added, thanks to all the wacky animated course parts, and without them, it's just a new soup reskin.

For that scene with the purple enemies that move in a wave pattern. You could have achieved the effect with the mario world's ghosts. It create the same wave effect.

2:31 there is also another trick. Just switch to the original super mario bros. Theme, then you can use that one power-up that makes mario stretchy and 2 blocks tall

0:34 That's a lot of extra projectiles I'd figure. I dunno, Munchers would sorta make them too tall unless you cut into that pipe or something so I guess in your version the Goomba's anime snot bubbles send off smaller ones that can hurt Mario & Co. 6:52 Inaccurate, you actually collected all the coins. (I feel like they did this specifically so that everyone who sees the trailer would REQUIRE this game just so that they can do the purple coin fragment section while actually getting all of them) Great job! You are incredibly creative and perhaps highly intelligent, or maybe not and just too ambitious. 😂What I mean by that is, come on is it really worth it to make this? 🤣 That said, this definitely took so much time and dedication. It does not look easy. My only issue is I would have liked to see just the version you made with the original audio from the trailer and not just both versions side by side. Anyways, great job finding a way, but you are a total lunatic for doing this. Or you have too much time on your hands, but hey I'm glad you were able to pull this off. I think I just realised that how limited Super Mario Maker 2 is. when Super Mario Wonder comes out, like the giant rolling hippo enemies, the pink koopas, the colored note blocks, the talking flowers, will be absent from Super Mario Maker 2.
