Yeah I know finally a game that can operate at a smooth 30 FPS with the computer only overheating every 5 minutes instead of every 5 seconds.

I think the whole point was to have as little height (1) for the visuals, making it 1D

​@@DinoNuggies4665 that doesn't make sense tho, even the sprite was 34x34, the game would be 1D because there is no Y axis in the game. He just wanted the screen to represent his own visualisation of 1D

@@filipfilip1507 depends on what you take as a fourth dimension. if its time then i cant perceive how it will be done, but if its next unit of length perpendicular to other three axes, i guess its possible. I've seen some videos about it

@@filipfilip1507 it's most definitely possible, and some games that use a 4th spacial axis have been made, but it would be impossible to make a reliable 4d camera that shows all 4 axes and that humans could easily comprehend, but it could work in third person with some limitations (flat camera, something right in front of you might not be visible)

@@ThumbsTup I agree with you. displaying projection of 4d object on your screen is impossible as too much simplifications will lose the sense of higher dimension. as screen is 2d and every 3d game shown on screen is just a shadow, 2d projection of 3d environment. thats why 4d will be oversimplified on screen. but how do you think about a VR headset? i think VR will render almost all sense of 4D object as 2D screen is making for 3D world, pretty much.?.

@@KappaTM something that is one dimensional doesn’t not have a length or height since those are two dimensions, something that is one dimensional is very hard to comprehend because it is impossible to represent as a physical object as the ways light bends to hit our eyes is three dimensional, and color which might as well be two dimensional as well since color can fe flat, but when something is one dimensional it has to be infinite since it is just length or height and cannot be seen, until scientists have recently came up with the theory of quantum fiber, but I do not want to talk about that for the sake of my own sanity and fingers as I type this on my phone.

There are some "4d" games sadly they don't have 4d graphics, but they have 4th dimension

@Duck Speak you mean a VR headset? :P two screens come together to give you the depth. So it's kinda like a 3d monitor. We'd just have to find a way to abstract one dimension from the 4d world to the 3d one. Maybe as you rotate around an object it's shape and color changes but it's always the same from a certain angle.

but as long as 2 things are x-axis aligned, they are one and the same. there's technically a y axis, but it doesn't mean anything. squishing the game vertically doesn't remove information.
