@@tical0325 no but you should be able to use someone else's save with the save bot in my discord. You can also decrypt your save but I can't tell you what the saves are like internally as I don't play the games so I haven't looked at the saves.
i was stoked to find this but shook to find out you have to pay for save wizard when something like brute force was free back in the day. I guess ill have to mod characters the old way by uploading them to my cross save then exporting them from my ps3

You will have to change the slots. Not only in the decrypted save but you will need to either use the htos bot to create a new save slot and generate the slot for the save and edit the sce_sys for the slot to be prepped. Then rebuild the save under the new slot you want it in. A lot easier done than said honestly. You just type some numbers into 3 programs: hxd (hex editor for sce_sys param.sfo), htos discord bot, and gibbed (or the BL series editor you are using)
Hello, when copying and pasting in savewizard, the backup is modified in advanced mode, the loading never ends and it shows me "An unknown error has occurred", what should I do?
I got the same error. I have the save wizard for PS4 max and I followed your steps right up to opening the new ".JSON' file in gibbed. I didn't have the advance option. My options were PC, Xbox 360, PS3, PS Vita, Nvidia SHIELD, Nintendo Switch Save Files (*,sav), or Save Wizard Save Files (*.*)
@ProtoBuffers, I don't think this work anymore. I know I'm late to trying this, however when opening the gibbed save editor I am getting the Invalis SHA1 error
I'm having an issue opening my .json in gibbed; when I select "open" in gibbed it does not detect the .json file and when I select the drop down for the file type, it only shows "PC Save Files (*.sav)", "Xbox 360 Save Files (*.sav)", etc. but no option for the "Save Wizard Advanced Mode (*.json)" as referenced at 0:48. Any advice would be sincerely appreciated. P.S. Very concise and informative video! Super helpful and easy to follow. Many thanks.

when replacing a save in advanced mode , I'm having problem where it wouldn't allow me to copy and paste the new save over on save wizard , any suggestion?

When exporting the saved data from save wizard I have saved as .JSON, however when loading Gibbed and trying to open the file it doesn't appear? (PS5 Version)

Use the save bot. If it is the profile save they locked it so you can't use advanced mode with it. You need save wizard max to use advanced mode export
I’m getting stuck a copy to the console so I copy and paste in the save wizard but whenever I copy the modded usb to console, doesn’t show the modded save
When copying back it'll be the same name on the save as you copied back. Make sure you are copying back from flashdrive and not overwriting your edited save by saving from console to flashdrive.
@ProtoBuffers I hate to expose myself, but you're the one that banned me from disc, but I was only having someone pay me bc I was using a paid solfwere, not the discord bot.
When i make a weapon in the new rewards screen it doesnt show up in game. No quest completion pop up no item. I am new to this but i even tried doing it with a completely vanilla weapon and it still didnt show up. I made sure it was a quest i had completed. Please help. Also if you could make a tutorial on how to make custom items that would be awsome.

Hello, I tried using save wizard and your version of Gibbed to get the event exclusive heads and skins (community day, poker night 2, and goliath) but could not figure it out for the PS4. Any tips? Thanks. Also, I did try to add them in the 'raw' tab but I noticed my changes went away after saving and reopening the save in Gibbed.

You'll need the PS4 version of the game on PS5 then you will need save wizard. I am working on the editor still so you have to go through a long process of converting saves with python right now.
Just add ".json" to the end of the files name when saving; make sure the file type being saved is labelled "all file types", otherwise you'll have to change it later.
?? Can't change OP level Can't give your true infinite ammo. Weapon/item editing can only be done 1 at a time and you still have to use the save editor unless you know binary and the how the game stores its data already + have to remove and add the BL() wrapper. Mission editing is slow af and you need another save to pull it from really. Making modded gear with save wizard is already semi convenient but this is wayyy faster. This just saves a lot of time and removes a hard learning curve also adds a GUI instead of a bunch of parsed data.
@@mateojose6600 I have videos showing how to convert the PS4 saves to PC but most people are to lazy to do it. Turn on notifications it should only be a week or 2

If you are copying profile.sav advanced mode isn't an option. You will have to use the discord bot on recent video, and bagpipe to edit profile: Bar, %, customizations.
