No he will marry the orphans who owe him then he gets old but ludwig is fit but the orphans arent and when the orphan is on lifesupport he will unplug it and get his $78
@@VyperByteX well if people actually wanted to they can do the same and sell things for a higher price or even scam people their are plenty of things people can do to make this a money making scheme
After seeing these marketing tactics, I'm convinced that firing Lud from a advertising job is like when Walt Disney was fired for "not being creative enough."
I'm new to this dude (came from the wholesome dynamic with Sykkuno) but this video tipped me over the edge, now i need to know: did he get fired from an advertising job?
So if you owned a business, and someone walked in, bought 1 thing for $1, then self-advertised in your business, you'd be fine with that? Don't be silly, This is exactly how burger king became the joke of the fast-food restaurants.
The marketing prowess on this is insane. I was skeptical, but the way you pulled off the dono comment was peak (I thought it might go the way of Burger King's adverts where they just wrote, "Here's $5 for you to spend on a WhopperTM). Absolutely insane and well done.
High or even moderate shipping costs will possibly lose you a lot of customers. It's possible he would not have made more money by increasing shipping cost.
isnt this the same scummy thing burger king did where instead of paying people for commercials and stuff they just had a streamer react to like a $5 donation
Yes but he isnt trying to get free promotion for his personal product. Hes trying to see if it works. Plus he is doing something positive by donating to charity
This whole behind the scenes process was very interesting, lud is a marketing genius (even though it wasnt that big of a hit, his mind is just really creative). Did miz end up getting merch?
What a fascinating video. Imagine if schools prepared a class like this. They would record a 20 minute video that was edited and could perfectly explain everything with examples on all that, and then you just work on it. I felt like I learned, and I was not in the mood to learn lol
I just learned how to create a business model strong enough to get you a passing grade in a business class... in 20 minutes of enjoyable content. Education system really is trash I guess lmao
@@GGamersUnited In Ludwig's example, he used Mizkif's photo and a quote he never actually said to sell merch. He did so again with xQc's photo and got more orders. I'm sure if either of them gave a hoot, they could have lawyers jumping down Ludwig's throat but it isn't a morally sound business model either on the same basis. HOWEVER, it is a good example of just how easy it is to make money in this country. It's amazing
I’ve watched like every one of ur videos over the last year and I remember this was the first ever video I watched from you! So it has a special place in my heart ❤️
The title of this video should be “Millennial tries to gamble for his money back via twitch donations after spending it all on Pokemon cards” Can’t wait to see that video btw (:
The international shipping fees are insane when merch comes from the US. I bought Lud's bone Mogul Moves jumper and after all the fees I think I spent about £100
I mean to be fair they have to ship your jumper all the way across an ocean or two, throughout a gigantic planet on a massive steel bird/fish. I think the price is warranted.
Yea that's a ripoff, I worked for a textiles company a while back on their internal systems. Shipping a jumper anywhere in the world was only like an £8 overhead tops! Shopify making bank on all these people looking to set up merch shops
Wait I'm confused, I live in central/western Europe and I wonder, because I don't buy hats, what does a hat cost normally? I mean a good quality one (never bought from Shopify so no idea whether they even stand near the quality alley), not one put together by Chinese kids and smuggled in by Bangladeshi kids to avoid taxation.
@@Kasiarzynka 12-15 usd edit: nvm just saw the bit about it not being put together by chinese kids, the average hat in that price range probably is, lmao
That was actually so fucking smart. He didn't even have to use his own fame to sell something. He just capitalized on the market. Although he ended up losing money, if he would've raised prices of hoodies or just generally optimized his prices, that would've been a hell of a dub.
There once was a man named Ludwig Ahgren, who was King of the Streamers. He had subs, viewers, and primers beyond your wildest dreams. Before they cancelled him on Twitter, these were the final words he said: "What if I made money off of self-promoting donos?" Ever since, streamers from all over the world started self-promoting, searching for profit, the only thing streamers care about.
@@chromso He at no point shows us that the streamers know its him and he actively shows us that he is hiding his identity. So unless it was a skit set up with them then their friendship does not matter in this context. Granted what he said was a little less on the nose than burger kings ads and was at least a little more fun and related better to a twitch audience.

I guess it's more of the ability to pay for ads that upset people. Usually new/small businesses do these cause they don't rly have funds for ads but corporations have the budget to properly pay for ads
