DON'T DO THIS!!!
I decided I didn't like feeling like I was going to scrape the oil pan on every bump so I bought some aftermarket coil springs with aluminum adjustment sleeves.
Right now the car is sitting at the top of the shock stroke with way too much positive camber for the way I drive. I should note that the front struts were just about sitting on the bump stops so there wasn't much suspension travel in the first place.
I will have to deal with it somehow once the new shocks arrive, but at least the car is taller now so I don't feel like I'm sitting on the pavement.
