How are people talking about being able to score from various places on the ice as a reason NHL 23 is worth buying at $70? Am I the only person that could score from “various places” in NHL 22? We get these minimal “upgrades” every year because people preorder and show that we will buy anything EA puts out… 🤦‍♂️

The last chance puck movements really only work if the player has relentless on superstar or zone ability. If you use x-factor sarah nurse it works almost every time. Doesn’t go in on the shots very often but it still activates a lot.

Quick question for nasher and anyone who has the game: my 4 biggest issues with 22 was inaccurate passing (passing nowhere near where i aimed), when receiving the pass (players would lose or fumble the puck when receiving the pass), very bad easy tripping a calls (the tripping system since 19), and Ai teammate defense. are any of these issues fixed in 23? don’t really want to spend $60 for another bad chel game

Haven't seen nearly as many tripping penalties and the passing is a tad bit better but can still be extremely inaccurate like in 22. The AI defensemen are absolute trash, they move like they are damn near glued to the ice.

Honest opinion: is the $90 price tag worth it? I haven’t bought a new nhl since 21 because it seems like nothing has changed except for extremely minor things. The only reason I even bought 21 was because of the be a pro upgrade

100% no. especially if you like bap since it hasnt changed at all since 22 and the only difference between 22 and 21 are x factors. and most x factors you can't unlock for a while.

They gave him certain packs full of great players to get kids to spend money in the game...it's really disgusting. It's a scummy business move by both Nasher and EA Sports.

100% correct. If you don't spend a large chunk of money on packs and/or grind for hours upon hours upon hours in single player mode - you just get the privilege of getting destroyed by people who do.
