I know a little of this feeling with my little sister's prom dress. While I didn't physically make her dress (I've only just started sewing), I designed it, and then my mom sent it to a seamstress. Hers was the most unique dress in the entire prom. Everyone lost their freaking minds about it. She tells me that her friends are still talking about it 6 months later. I cried so hard that day, she looked glorious.

I literally teared up. That dress is amazing and she is absolutely stunning in it. I hope you're lucky enough to get to design her wedding gown some day.

I had an uncle who created beautiful clothing. He made me my first 'posh' coat when I was a toddler. He was still crafting stunning looks into his 70s. I miss him. Thank you for reminding me of him, and for sharing your incredible gift. You are most certainly good enough. You are an artist.

My mother made my prom dresses. Now that she is gone that is a cherished memory. Your niece will have that memory of you for her the entirety of her life. Gorgeous.
