Idea: What if wild ravagers spawned? Not sure where or under what conditions, but they wouldn't have the traditional ravager armor, and they would be neutral instead of hostile. They wouldn't attack villagers or the player, and they wouldn't attack or be attacked by iron golems. The idea is that it's the same kind of beast in its natural habitat, without having been influenced by pillagers. So you could breed it, tame it, and keep it as a pet. You could even ride it and use the same charge attack!

It's a great idea but 3 hearts of damage without armour? I feel that should definitely be cranked up. When you think how hard Vindicators can hit and a Savager is twice the size of one.

I have a suggestion for this If you manage to shoot the savager's ravager with 2-3 arrows when it's charging at you, you could actually stop the savager

I think the savager should drop his mace as an exclusive weapon that does a lot of damage with a decent range

Feels like it would make more sense for a charging Savager to break, ignore, or disable your shield like a Piglin Brute. Or like send you flying if you do block it. It's a pretty common fantasy trope, you see the big bullrush attack coming and you have to dodge it instead of taking it head on.

Little does SystemZee realize... a regular Ravager is actually more difficult than the Savager. On EASY MODE a Ravager does 7 damage (that's 3 and a half hearts), on Normal it does 12 (6 hearts) and on Hard it does 18 (9 hearts). Meanwhile the Savager seemed to do only 3 hearts every time. I dunno what difficulty he's on, but even if he's on Easy mode its weaker than the plain Ravager.... and it has more range too! Ravagers have deceptively large attack hitboxes!

I like the idea of having a raid boss. It's cool how you can get the ravager saddle but I think there should be a really small chance for the illager on top to drop his weapon. Then there could be a special enchant for it that does more damage to villagers.

this looks horrifyingly fun to play. not sure if it's more horrifying, or more fun

The idea of having a miniboss at the end of an event just makes me think Terraria

Do all the “i recoded a type of mob so differently” into one mod and do something like 25 50 or 100 days that would be cool

Idea: the giant pillager as its separate entity, that just uses its club, and drops the club as a weapon. Also, the charge disables your shield, so it's a bit harder to block its club

I wanted to tame a Ravager since they were added. Also the Savager is pretty cool.

The reason the golem won is because it deals way more damage, even the ordinary ravanger deals more damage than this mob, it really should deal like 6 and half hearts on normal and 8 and half on hard for it really to be any challenge

you know whats good about these mobs is that they actually look like mojang created it, and i would really want a savager in game

This is great but I wish when you kill either the ravager or the illager, that one of them dies instead of both of them dying at the same time. It’s just like when you kill the spider of a spider jockey and all you have left is to fight the skeleton or vise versa

Idea for taming a ravager: the ravager will attack at first, with its temperament stat at max, it will buck you off and run around at first, but after a lot of work and giving food, maybe raw meat or something that would make sense for a ravager, it would grow friendlier, and become a pet, like in the video, but if you don’t feed it often enough it won’t stay as loyal, but it will still be loyal, just means at least loyal, it won’t attack enemies.

oddly enough, I once had an idea for a creature called the Savager as a type of nether mob to add more villager-ish variants to the Piglin (like the Brute). my Nether Savager would have been a type of large, Wither Skeleton, Hoglin type mob that would be rode by a new type of Piglin known as the Piglin Marauder, and both of them would essentially raid the bastions for gold or possibly other Piglin loot like Crying Obsidian or even Ancient Debris/Netherite. Zee, if you see this, then please consider it for an upcoming "Your Ideas in Minecraft" video; I'd really love to see how you and your amazing team would bring this nightmare to life (or unlife lol)

That buffed pillager could even be a great end boss for a high level raid.
