It feels like you make the most heartwarming videos on RU-vid 💗💗💗 And the end result, with that golden brown top, flaky dough and perfect amount of filling, makes me crave this food so much😅
I bought these Tau Sar cookies from our Malaysian Confectionery store. I never had it before and it is really tasty. Learn well from your great uncle. We need family connections.
This video gives me so much feels! 🥹 It’s so true that food brings back fond memories with your loved ones. I totally feel you on how you would want to learn the food recipes and skills from them when they are still around so you can carry on the recipe or remember them through their dish with your family in the future ❤
WoW! The way the mung beans are meshed is really done in the traditional way! Excellent. I hope you have learnt how to speak Cantonese while with your uncle. We should never ever forget our mother tongue. Our mother tongue is our roots to our culture and who we are.
It's nearing my grandma's death anniversary. She passed so suddenly and I feel sad I did not learn her recipes enough. Although, I do remember a few recipes but it‘ll never be on par with hers. I hope anyone experiencing the same thing would find closure as well.
Hi Kristin, u remind me of my childhood days I used to help popo in the kitchen. Being a Cantonese, popo made many types of peangs/kue..but sadly I don't quite remember the actual recipes. I would greatly appreciate if u could share a written recipe ..Tks
